Lucky Supermarket

I am a student at the nearby school, and during lunch hours this store doesn’t allow more than 5 students in the store. This is ridiculous because the kids go there to buy a quick lunch and get back to class, limiting the amount of people is only pissing the people off, the students are your main customers and this is how they are treated. Another issue I ran into is expired food, I just bought a bag of chips, half way through eating it I see the expiration date, it says best by Feb 16 2024, I bought it February 21. Usually when shopping I don’t need to check the expiration date because the store is responsible for clearing the shelves of the expired product. Being able to buy a product 5 days after it’s expiration date is absolutely ridiculous. Please fix your system.

Lucky Supermarket has some of the best range of Asian and Canadian products. They also have some of the best meat prices around. Lucky’s offers a full fresh grocery section, aisles of pantry goods, bakery, dairy, frozen items. They offer a butcher shop for fresh protein of every kind. Lucky Supermarket has so much variety! You will see and go often as they offer sales each week to families, seniors and other ongoing promotions:

This store amazed me. It’s completely different from the last time I visited few years ago. The store looks very clean and organized. The staff are friendly and I found what I’m looking for. They have a lot of varieties to offer for asian and western. I highly recommended

Their signs say they close at 9:00 pm, but I’ve been there between numerous times between 8:30 and 8:45 and they are regularly closed early. The staff have been less than helpful and it’s not competitively priced at all. Not very happy.

Could do a better job cleaning the meat department. The store has a unique decay smell. The closer you get to the back of the store near the meat and seafood, the smell gets worse. Not sure how they pass AHS checks.
