My fiancé and I are new home owners so we are learning a lot about home care. The staff at Rona+ on Gardiners rd. have been wonderful. Most of the other hardware/department stores we've been to the staff seem disinterested in helping us or are simply part-time retail employees with no particular knowledge in their products. The staff at Rona+ however, in all departments, are always asking if we need help. Offering informative advice and seem genuinely interested in helping us with our home projects. It's refreshing to see a large store like Rona+ still focusing on customer service and well trained knowledgeable staff.
On November 28th, early evening, I went to Rona Plus on Gardiner's Rd., Kingston to activate my rewards program. Garrett told me the person I needed to see wasn't in. Several minutes later he called me his work station saying he found a person who could help. Michael and Garrett not only made my return visit unnecessary but did so patiently as I fumbled to remember info needed to verify my account. I then went to the plumbing aisle and the person working there was equally pleasant and helpful. When I mentioned to him that I appreciated his service, he said he was well trained. Indeed, Manager Michael knows how to keep customers happy.nGreat job, everyone.
Big, bright store with everything that you'd need from a big box hardware store. Staff are friendly and helpful.nStore doesn't seem exceptionally busy, never seems to be crowd.
I had a fantastic experience thanks to Martin in the paint department! He was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me choose the perfect color for my project. He clearly knows his job inside out. On top of that, Martin was super friendly, approachable, and absolutely hilarious. He made the entire process fun and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism with such a great personality.
I had an excellent experience buying fencing with customer service representative Skye. There were no bar codes on some of the products I was buying. She found the right prices and rang me through. She is a great customer service representative for the store.
