Story

Longwood Brew Pub & Restaurant stands proud as the "jewel in the crown" of Longwood Station. Nestled within beautiful landscaping and natural west coast wilderness, the Longwood Brew Pub is easily accessible via the Nanaimo Parkway from Victoria, Duke Point ferry terminal, or the old Island Highway from Departure Bay ferry terminal and all points north.
Longwood Brew Pub is central Vancouver Island's first Brew Pub and Nanaimo's favorite rendezvous destination.

Fantastic experience at this family restaurant. There is a pub/lounge on the lower level. The upper is a very nice restaurant. The service was very friendly and accommodating to allergies dairy. The house beer was very flavourful and smooth. Highly recommend the Steak Mushroom bowl, so good.
Loved this place. Food was delicious and super cold beers. Just what you need before you get on a ferry
This is a really nice pub. The staff very friendly and of course the food is great. I had a steak and mushroom puff pastry pie with stout and a Longwood salad. When back in the Nanaimo, I will surely try another dish.
Great food, you can tell the chef is passionate by the presentation, also love the character of the building. Would give it five stars but our last server didn't wear a mask, stood right next to us to take orders. The dividers are a joke, great big gap where the next table was within six feet. Hopefully they can sort it out soon.
We have not eaten here since COVID but we will be back again soon. The food is always good, but their beers on tap are what makes it a bonus. Not to mention we can bring our young daughter with us for dinner and a drink. The manager here is always outstanding with our daughter and makes the experience more special.
Good beer. Good martinis. Cute patio. Not a fan of them not wearing masks. The server wasn't wearing a mask, and was way too close to us for comfort..not following social distancing protocols at all. He also wasn't with other tables as well, potentially spreading covid from one table to the next.
Nice atmosphere, yummy food and friendly service. I enjoyed their craft brews as well!They were careful about COVID protocols.
