I have struggled to find a good Thai restaurant, then a friend recommened here. Wow, finally found a great Thai restuarant. The coconut soup, was amazing. I am a huge fan of their Pad Thai. Great for a quick dinner or a night out.
We had ordered take out from this place and were very happy that the food that we had ordered was not only excellent in taste but in quantity as well. On our next trip, we will be definitely eating here/ordering from here again!!
We always have consistently great food here, and just love the owners and friendly staff! The ambiance is nice, basic tables and seating, but the wood building and Thai decor gives it a true Thai feeling. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoy their food and staff!
The food here is so good!! I always get the basil fried rice, yum! The staff are also friendly and efficient. I've only had great experiences and I definitely recommend Thai Orchid!
Been here three times and always good...excellent food,service and prices...and there is no other place in Nanaimo that serves Chang beer except The Orchid....I highly recommend this eatery. I spent one month in Asia recently and this place is very authentic,as good as it gets....:

The food is delicious and indistinguishable from the Thai food I ate in Asia. The service is kind and genuinely caring. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. I love this place!!!
