London Drugs

I go to London Drugs when I am looking for more unique products. They do a good job of carrying food/snack items that are less run-of-the-mill.

Now London Drugs at the Coquitlam Centre is in charge of delivering Canada Post Parcels. Canada Post has not even a desk at the London Drugs. To pick up a Canada Post Parcel you have to line up at the customer service. You have to wait and line up with people paying, returning merchandise and buying cigarettes. I picked up a parcel today and I have to wait over an hours as the London Drugs employees and the manager were unable to locate my parcel. Frustrating when two poor customer service companies work together, not sure which one is worse, Canada Post or London Drugs. Obviously London Drugs has not idea how to handle Canada Post parcels...bad combination...

Is it too much to ask for to have a look at the actual product before buying in store? My mom wanted to look at an electric pressure cooker that was not put on display at the store. We asked a staff for permission to open a box. The staff simply replied, "no, you can not open boxes." 'But you don't have a demo here," I said. And he just repeated, no, you can not open boxes. We asked to have a staff to open the box for us. Another staff came to do the unboxing. I mentioned that the box was previously been opened. And the staff said something like; " there are people like you that love to open boxes." Mind me, my mom was interested in the product....not the staff. I questioned about the material that the cooker bowl was made of. And the staff said: " what does it say at the bottom?".....

Staff should know their merchandise. Asked if they carried long, flat, plastic bins with lids. Couldn't tell me without a L.D.#. I worked in customer service 22 years. It's called actually going to that area of store and looking???????? Or oh wait actually searching by description, etc in computer. Have bought most of my storage bins from your store over the last 29 years? ( whenever the mall opened with LD ) I just wanted to make sure they still do carry this product. Could not check numbers as I have major mobility issues and cannot check under my bed for number on my bins especially as not the customer 's job. If I had asked a customer that at Staples b2b I'm sure I would have had an upset manager. If you can't make the customer your number one priority don't be in the business. Know superstore carries the same item. Will be shopping there instead. Reminds me why I rarely shop LD anymore.

Employee 58650 has the worst attitude I have ever encountered in the customer service branch. She deserved to be fired since she almost made me run over to metro town to pick up a clothing that I wanted even though it was clearly available and visible in front of me. Additionally she showed no common decency whatsoever to the point where I felt I was being racially discriminated.
