Coffee was ok… definitely don’t go there for food. Also couldn’t get my stroller around their display to get to the fridge. Would for sure be difficult if you use a mobility aid.
Good coffee and lattes, also they have a delicious selection of desserts, most of which are different from what is offered at other UBC markets. I love their smoothies! They're usually pretty quick at making drinks.
Try their Matcha purfait or Tiramisu purfait. The coffee is okay.Food: 5/5
Amazing coffee get the Papa New Guinea pour over. Great snacks too- salted caramel fudge cookie is a favorite!
Only pour over I’ve found on campus and great service
Probably the best coffee in UBC. Not only does it use flex which helps some, it also doesn't have that acidic aftertaste that most cafes tend to have. Better than Starbucks for sure. Their cookies are amazing too including the Mexican wedding cookie!
Love their London Fogs! Great place to get coffee if you want to use your Flex dollars.
Best place to get coffee on campus if you like it black. It doesn't have that sour/acidic taste that a lot of other places have, and they brew each cup fresh
I like their cheesecake and matcha teramisu but they are always out of something in the fridge, especially ice cream. They sometimes have Mochi here and sometimes don’t. Their frozen cheesecakes are also always missing.
Worst service ever. One female server of an Indonesian ethnicity gave me a bad attitude as she IGNORED me, because I was wearing a cheap hoodie that day. It is certainly concerning how such a snobbish woman can get a job here, and it is appalling to see such disingenuous behavior toward the customers. I am cynical toward the way this place is managed, cynical to the snobs that work there, and downright appalled by the discrimination that occurs here on a day to day basis. A comment to the owner's response: Yes I do remember when this happened, approximately a year ago. I remember it so vividly because of my disbelief in such an appalling service attitude. It concerns me that unqualified workers such as this person work in UBC's food services, and I find it incompetent of you being oblivious of situations like this.
