Great for a family gathering even if its a reunion sized group. Outdoor events like baseball, volleyball, playground stuff, and swimming. The one negative, as is possible anywhere, was that we once encountered such an unpleasant group of people swimming that we had to remove our kids from the lake. Directly stated... Drug usage, loud, foul language, and potential fistfights. We've gone there many times. This was a one time event. But, in fairness to the public, I think it should be shared.

Nice place for the family. Beach area is s bit small by waters edge.

Has everything you need for a day at the lake. Restrooms, grills, picnic tables, pavilion that you can reserve for events. Has a small playground, baseball diamonds, and volleyball nets.
