Kal-Haven Outpost

What an incredible find! The KalHaven trail runs along the north edge of the property. It is only about 5 miles from North Beach in South Haven and is easily bike-able. The location is great! The facilities are very clean. Without a doubt, some of the best camp ground bathrooms I have ever seen. The owners are very friendly and attentive to guest needs. I highly recommend this location!

The house is absolutely amazing any and everything u could need is rite there the property is beautiful Scott the owner is an amazing soul making us feel at home in his home

This place is so amazing! We found a primitive site tucked back in the woods that made us feel like we were alone to the world. The bathrooms were spectacular, much nicer than any other campground I have been too.

Loved this place! I've been to a few campsites in western/southwestern Michigan and this one is certainly my favorite. The proximity to the lake, the spacious campsites, the great vibes, and the option of having a communal or private bonfire were all a big sell for me. I really enjoyed the option of being social with my dog by the center campfire before heading back to my campsite for a bit of privacy. The campsites are numerous and spaced well enough where you have little worry about hearing other sites. Rob And Heather were super accommodating but not overbearing which I've found can be hard to find hosts who aren't at one end of that spectrum. I'll definitely be coming back.

Amazing cabins. Amazing owners. Good prices. Very Close to South Haven & Blueberry Farms. The On site store offers complimentary coffee and has extremely reasonable prices.
