An absolutely delicious choice of food at the cafeteria in the mall. I was looking for a place to eat and the reviews from previous customers had all indicated two things: you should not miss this when your in the area and that the food is authentic as it is in Thailand. I couldn’t pass and I agree with the previous customers and enjoyed the service and the food itself. The gentlemen at the cashier was very friendly by greeting me in Thai - it’s appreciated. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was delicious. It had the perfect spice to it and the spring roll was just right. I loved the soup that came with it as it washed down the after taste. Next time I will try their soup and I will come by soon! Thank you for the experience today :
i went there on my winter vacation. Most of the time I've tried a few Thai restaurants in downtown Vancouver but only found them to be okay, except for this husband and wife's shop. I came here twice during my vacation. because really beyond the greatness of the food. I also feel that you and your husband are very hospitable. gave me two free mango sticky rice. after the outing. what I feel most happy is the sacrifice coming from them. I appreciate it very much
Sometimes you find the best food in the most unexpected places. Walking into International Village Mall for the first time, you might be taken aback by how empty and dead it feels, especially in contrast to the surrounding lively Gastown district. But you’d be surprised by how alive the food scene is. Especially this little hidden gem. We had: Pad Thai Combo $14.99 + $2 for choosing prawns - one of the best I've had, the flavour was a perfect balance of slightly sweet, savoury and a little kick of spice you can adjust. The combo comes with the following: 1 a salad, 2 a spring roll, 3 a soup, and 4 your choice of a drink. The soup was clean and clear but packed with flavour. It was a clear sign that the chef is talented Tom Kah Goong Prawn $14.95 - this is very reminiscent of the more popular Tom Yum soup but with the addition of creamy coconut milk. It was piping hot seriously, be careful! but I fought through the pain to gulp it down because it was so delicious! Those hot, sour, creamy flavours all melded together into an amazing concoction. Bites of mushroom, lemongrass, tomatoes, onions, and prawns throughout were delightful The fact that you’re getting this level of restaurant-quality and honestly much better than some restaurants food in a little place like this is unbelievable. They're the sweetest and they obviously pour so much love into what they do. If you’re ever in the area, I hope you’ll consider stopping by this hidden food court! While its exterior may not seem particularly extraordinary, it holds some amazing flavours and wonderful people.
Yum. This place seems pretty authentic. Delicious, fresh ingredients, with lots of crunch to the salad. Very Spicy is actually Very Spicy, which is perfect for me. Good portions for the price too. I'll definitely be back!
I’ve tried a few dishes here like pad thai, kee mao and pad gaprow photo and enjoyed them tremendously. My fav so far is the kee mao as the flavours were balanced. Good portions and for a combo u get a spring roll, broth and pop. Love it! I always ask for spicy and ask for a side of bird’s eye chillies to kick it up. Dishes are fully customizable and the proprietors are the nicest people who always bring a smile. A great place to grab a spicy bite before a movie or event at Rogers Arena!
I rarely write review unless i come across something hidden and something amazing. What makes a place great is the food, what makes it extraordinary is the service and hospitality. Don't let the food court vibe detour you, this place has some of the best thai food in the city. I won't write about it detail as you all should go out and experience it yourself.
I found this place due to the intriguing solid 5 star ratings, and was surprised that it was in a food court. I ordered the pad thai chicken combo and completely loved it. As someone who used to go to Bangkok 3 times a year, I’d say this is the closest thing to having pad thai on the streets of Bangkok. I’ll definitely be back.
They have very good food from Thailand and i satisfied about their real thai food. They also were good person. definitely i will be back soon. before i will back my country.
The Kao Soigai is out of this world fantastic! Super filling as well! Secret gem in Chinatown. Flavourful coconut broth, two different types of noodles and perfectly braised chicken
We just had Pad Thai Combo and Kaprao Combo, and the food, service, price, the whole experience was great! We enjoyed both Pad Thai with Chicken and Kaprao with Shrimp, they were both delicious, along with other sides. The food was taking longer than you would expect to take at a food court but it wasn’t too long and it’s worth the wait like how it would normally take at a restaurant. The staff was so friendly and kind, we wish their business all the best
