Lingan Cream House

I and my friends had this yummy ice-cream at Lingan. Ice-cream was really awesome where we have to select any 2scoops from various available flavours. I took chocolate and pista both were nice. There was lot of flavoured jelly at the bottom of cup which I didn’t liked as it changed the taste of my mouth. I would advice to avoid it or instead you can add dry fruits in it. I cost us around $6-7 each.

They used to be good but I don’t suggest you go here if you have allergies. There was cross contamination between the ice creams and there were so many pieces of nuts in the chocolate and mango ice creams. Luckily the person eating did not react as badly as someone else with a severe allergy would’ve reacted. This was not the case before but it seems the service has become sloppy.

Very popular place for deserts.About a dozen flavours of ice creams, falooda and the staple Sri Lankan baked goods. Had the falooda rating:4 out of 5 Mango and Pistachio ice cream special rating: 4 out of 5. The Cookies and Cream and Oreo rating: 3 out of 5. The specials come with jello, and nuts at the bottom and topped with chocolate syrup and more nuts. The fish bun was tasty. A filling of spiced potato and fish rating: 4 out of 5. The sweet onion bun was sweet and spicy rating 4.5 out of 5. There is an appam station making hot fresh appams the way they should be made with an egg, cracked and spread on the inside. A nice place to visit if you’re craving a cold treat. They accept credit and debit cards. Expect to wait outside the store as there’s a 3 person limit inside the store.

I went to this ice cream place for my dads birthday and when we arrived their was a LONG line we had to wait for around 12-14 minutes in line but it was worth the wait! I always eat chocolate ice cream but I decided to go for bubble gum and cotton candy and it was very delicious! I can see why their was a big line! The ice cream special is also amazing! We went to this shop in 2021 and were definitely going to visit again this year for my dads birthday this August! If you are near Scarborough and see this shop I would say you should totally check it out! I rate this place a 10/10

We ordered two special with 3 scoops 7$ each and one falooda 5$. The blue one is cotton candy with strawberry and pistachio. Other one Pistachio, Pineapple and Strawberry . Falooda comes with one scoop of vanilla ice cream. Service was fast and good. I would recommend to avoid fruits at bottom. I didn't like the taste as it used to be. Everything else was great. FYI Special comes with nuts which we like.

Very delicious icecream with a variety of flavours available. My favourite are mango & pistachio! Must try!

The setting was more suited to takeaways. The ice creams lacked creaminess and were overly sugary. They were more like sugar syrups in my opinion, so I wouldn't give their ice cream a high rating. The creaminess of the milk is the whole idea of ice cream, and I thought that was lacking.

Too overhyped…staff were all very rude. It was our first time there so obviously we had questions about the flavors of ice cream as they were not labelled properly. They assumed we just wanted the ice cream cups with the jellies right off the bat. When I said I did not want that option, she looked annoyed. They have no patience with customers. When paying, they said debit or cash only. When I was getting my card, lady gave out a huge sigh and just dropped the machine rudely in front of me. Very poor customer service and the ice cream was not even 10/10 for us to deserve that kind of treatment.

Go get yourself a mega special. You get 3 choices of flavour. My favorite is Mango so I only go Mango which was delicious! The pink drink is falooda with rose syrup and jelly which is also awesome!

I love the ice cream from Lingan's Cream House. It's delicious and creamy yet is not excessively sweet. They have many different flavours, and in the past I have tried their pistachio, mango, Oatmeal cookie, cookies and cream and strawberry shortcake, and to be honest I love them all. Pictured is a 2-scoop cup with nuts, chocolate drizzle and wafer on top. I got the strawberry shortcake and cookies and cream since they did not have the oatmeal cookie my fav when I went in. Their price is reasonable too as it was $4.75 for the cup with 2 scoop. The line at this place is usually long since their ice cream is SO good. Will definitely recommend to try their ice cream if you're in the area.
