My experience at this location was fantastic. My therapist Alex was better than anything I could’ve hoped for. She was very patient and understanding. Helping me to make sure that my form on certain lifting and twisting exercises was perfect seemed to be her top priority which was really appreciated. Alex was very knowledgeable and had a great answer for any question I asked, and I never left a session questioning anything. If the other therapists at this location are anything like Alex I’m sure that anyone would be in great hands. Definitely recommend this location to everyone!!
I saw Garland for five sessions after my knee surgery. She was amazing! She listened to my long backstory, how I was feeling, what had worked prior to seeing her, what my goals were. She suggested exercises that were effective yet felt safe and was knowledgeable about my type of injury. Most of all, she really cared for me as a person - when I was discouraged she was sympathetic and reminded me of the progress I had made, and when I was improving, she was genuinely happy and excited for me. Highly recommend Garland! The only thing to be careful about is reception - poor communication on session availability.
My physio Alex Burgess helped me by providing exercises to improve my range of motion and strength in my arm. She also treated me with heat and dry needling, which helped relieve muscle tension around my elbow joint. Her approach was practical, providing realistic and helpful exercise programs that worked with my routine, and supporting me with her positive advice and attitude.
I went to LifeMark for part of a back injury return to work program. The staff were very friendly and the gym and office were clean and large enough where you weren’t listening to everyone else’s conversations. Alex was my physiotherapist and would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a physiotherapist. She’s patient, knowledgeable and great at motivating you! I managed to go from back surgery in the summer to snowboarding in January, so thanks again Alex!
My experience with lifemark Physiotherapy was not great. I had a great physiotherapist Lisa. She was extremely professional and very polite. I would give her 5 star rating. But unfortunately the receptionist Dana's not sure her name sounds similar extremely rude behaviour ruined my pleasant experience with lifemark. I wonder she never knew or don't want to use any of the polite words to the patients. She literally used very demanded sentences like" don't sit here wait outside". I noticed the same behaviour with other patients while I was waiting. Please keep in mind you are dealing with humans who is going through lot of physical pain. Have some courtesy in your communication. The treatment wise Lisa did excellent job. This bad review nothing to do with her treatment. I would recommend to anyone.
Went here after knee surgery. Appointments are too short and always rushed. First pt was rude and dismissive. Second was nice but I didn't feel the proper attention was paid to my needs and abilities. She had me doing stuff that wasn't beneficial for recovery and so we wasted a lot of time. My surgeon, personal trainer, and my new pt were all very confused about the program I was given and why I wasn't done already. Lifemark Pt seemed satisfied to go too slow, focus on the wrong things, and waste time and money. Program was 2 hours every day and did not even address the correct muscles. Honestly, it was a waste of time. Not satisfied.
Alex & Helen are one of the best health practitioners I have worked with. They were always punctual, and concerned about my state of health. They always went above and beyond to ensure my recovery was going smoothly.
I have received a shockingly bad level of care from Sports Med Dr. Tob and the reception team. As a person with Chronic Back Pain i was left in excruciating pain. I saw the doctor Friday 9th September, she wanted to change my treatment plan from pain management injections in my back to another type of treatment, which I was keen to try. However I was told I needed TO REMAIN IN PAIN in order to see if I qualify for the treatment. I told the doctor I was in pain right now so if they can do the tests now that would be great. I was given a requisition form and a print out of some exercises to do at home!! Baring in mind I was in so much pain I could barely go from a seated position to standing position without help!! I obviously wasn’t going to be able to do these exercises. I was never examined on the day. I was never told I’d have to wait 5-6 weeks for any pain relief. Had the doctor simply asked me to stand up she would of seen my level of pain, but she did not!! I called 6 days later Thursday 15th Sept explaining to front desk I couldn’t cope any longer without pain relief. I could barely walk. I was told she’d pass a message along to the doctor. Friday morning 16th September I was taken to hospital by my husband as the pain was so horrific. While in hospital the doctor there said in all of his years in medicine he has NEVER heard of any medical professional telling a patient with CHRONIC BACK PAIN to “remain in pain” for any reason!! After still hearing nothing back from sports med I called again Saturday 17th Sept and left a voicemail explaining my condition and that I need to go back to my previous treatment plan. Late Monday 19th September after still hearing nothing back I called again. They said again they’d pass the message along. Finally I got a call back and was told the doctor would injection me Wednesday 21st September… Great news?? No, because Tuesday 20th September they call saying the doctor made a mistake she forgot she cannot do those injections herself!! I even asked while on the phone Monday if they were sure because I never get the injections there but I was dismissed because what would I know right??? So while on the phone Tuesday 20th September the woman speaking with me said she was new there, she didn’t know all the injections yet, and had no clue whatsoever what I needed or anything to do with my case??? Later in the day Tuesday 20th September another woman calls to Confirm my appointment for the following day, the same appointment the previous woman cancelled!! I then have to go through EVERYTHING AGAIN because none of the people seem to communicate with each other or give a damn about their patients in genuine pain. Now I’m STILL IN PAIN and I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with the level of care or lack there of that I’ve been given!!! This is not ok!! This is a complete joke!!
Horrible Horrible communication, very rude dismissive front staff. Dr will make a care plan then without communicating dump you on the chronic pain clinic. They are not to be trusted and I wouldn't let them treat a sprained toe... dr.patal is a lying uneducated entitled dr who promised to help with my complicated case. She promised to work with my brace place but then emails she doesn't know how to do there job. So my brace was incorrectly adjusted which caused more permanent damage. I am now left in more pain than before I saw her and nobody will help...
Alex is an amazing physio! She is so knowledgeable, but more importantly, she is patient and creative when working with me to incorporate the exercises into my routine!!!
