Stayed in spot 21. Excellent little location, beautiful trees, little creek running through down to lake. Camped while a tad colder so no mosquito issue, or else this spot would likely have mosquitoes. We were private only due to off season, if it was busy, we'd be able to view two other campsites from this spot. Has vault bathrooms, picnic tables, and fire ring with moving grill rack. Most spots cater to RV, as there is not much room to place a tent. Except spot 21 . Quick walk to the water.
This campground is off the beaten path and that's exactly what it should be. The hosts were really nice and even helped us get situated. The negatives are things I'm fine with but you might not be; bathrooms less than stellar, no potable water, not much level ground for big tents. HOWEVER, I don't care. The lake was great, and it was beautiful and quiet. Score!
Very nice place to camp! Stayed two nights , had a very good experience! Beach area is great for small kids to play. Would come back again! Very pretty and lots of trees around, some sites are secluded by trees and shrubs.
Beautiful stopping point in our drive around the lake.
Couldn't ask for a better place to camp. The host Stacy was amazing. We had a great time
The campground is nice, good spots with a grill/fire ring. Unfortunatelyt reservation system is a little weird. Our reservation sheet was taken off after the first night and when we returned from our day trip someone else has taken the spot. Maybe some kids did it but the host should watch this more closely. Except for that it's a good campground and I would stay there again.
This place is wonderful! Can walk down to the beach from a few sites. Super quiet. Well spaced sites. Some are first come first serve and some are reserved. $14 a night for no hookups. But location, beauty, and the quiet were totally worth it. Really recommend.
Fantastic camp! A bit further down but extremely close to the lake shore. Great views of the mountains. Camp host was friendly. We found a first cone first serve site after the first few camps were full. Also this site has cell reception...
Bad: Small camp sites with no room for a tent. People were using the parking spot as a tent site and having to find creative ways for parking. At One site, there is hardly room to park a small car. The camp ground is next to the boat ramp so you get a lot of boat noise pollution. There is picnic tables and fire rings but the ground is hilling and not a lot of room for chairs around the fire. One of the bathroom is from the 60’s and missing locks. Good: It has nice clean and warm wish water for boating, swimming, or fishing. It has a lot of beautiful trees for shade. And a lot of animals.
Great quiet camping spot. Road in is paved except the last mile is dirt road. No water on site, but a campground up the road has some. Lake is just a short walk down the hill. Even get cell service with verizon
