Beautiful mountains, lakes and trout streams. A great hiking alternative to Glacier without the crowds. Be sure to stop by the Hungry Horse Ranger Station for maps and suggestions.

I've been eating at Nicole Charlie's for 14 years. The food is always good and served hot. Large menus selection with daily lunch and dinner specials. BBQ ribs every Saturday. Really good ribeye steaks. Excellent service.

Very beautiful area as much of Montana is. We have been lucky enough to travel around Montana and love the various changes in the landscape, the clear rivers and beautiful views. This area is great for recreation and hiking. Well worth a visit. With regards to the earlier review stating how developed the US is i suggest visiting the National Parks in Utah, Canyonlands, Arches, or hike in Yellowstone, visit Big Bend in Texas, or the various deserts, climb the Rockies, explore the Grand Canyon, and so many State Parks, along with incredible Caverns. Get out and enjoy the country rather than looking at Google maps

What a beautiful place this is! We were there in winter and it is every bit of a wonderland as one could imagine. Up towards the summit (behind the ski resort) the trees were covered with so much blown snow that it looked more like a picture than real life. Magnificent views. Beautiful trails. Can't wait to see it in summer.

If your looking for open Public land to recreate, you found it! So much beautiful land here to explore. Lately we have been exploring the Point Of Rocks area. It has some of the best rock climbing close to town, with so much more potential. The BC skiing is also just as good as is the Snowmobiling, with so many groomed trails to ride. This is my favorite place to play in the woods! Love FNF!
