3.5 stars. I enjoyed this hike. It was quite peaceful to be able to hear the water running for most of the hike. It did, however, leave me wanting more! While there were occasional views of the surrounding mountains, there wasn't a clear summit or point that had a direct view. They are lots of views of the creek and re waterfall. So although it as a good workout, I probably wouldn't do this hike as I felt the view wasn't quite worth the effort.

This is one of the best well-kept secrets of the area. Miles of trails going to one of the last remaining natural cedar Grove's in the area, and on further up the mountains to a a fantastic array of views in all directions! Make sure to go at sunset. You don't want to miss it. This is also the edge of a natural Wetland with a tremendous host of waterfowl, various species of turtles, and some of the largest dragonflies in the region.

The quiet of the country, close to the city. The campground hosts enforce the campground rules... To me that is a good thing and means that quiet hours are quiet hours. Also, although the tenting sites are close together, we still felt like we had our own space. We would definitely can't camp here again.

The lake looked really nice but they wouldn't let us get close cause we had a dog. What did they expect? For us to tie our dog up at camp in 100 degree and go swim ourselves. Not dog friendly just because you allow dog doesn't make it dog friendly. No place to let your dog swim

Wonderful park with great hiking trails. If you are looking for a pretty place to hike and explore the wilderness this is a close place to town to get a great taste of the Pacific Northwest.
