Great place to hike. There are hills that may not be best for small children though!

What a wonderful surprise! I will return again and again, at different times of the year, to enjoy this beautiful ascending trek to the summit!  Advice: take the trail, complete with switchbacks, rather than the worn 'road' that just goes straight up! Look for lichens and mushrooms along the way. (12 October 2017).

A beautiful hike.  Warning it goes straight uphill to start off.  I'm weak so only made it part way up before turning back about 45 minutes into the hike for me.  I made past the butterfly meadow where the creek runs though.  Gorgeous!
