We had a pleasant stay at this hotel, which is within walking distance of downtown. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly with top-notch service. We were welcomed with a package, and the staff was very attentive. The washroom was clean, supplied with plenty of towels, and had toiletries available.nThe highlight of our stay was the hot breakfast. However, there were some areas for improvement, such as adding food labels to the breakfast buffet. As a non-beef eater, I was unsure about the patty without any labeling.nOverall, the hotel offers good value for what you pay.
The Days Inn was quiet, and updates have been done inside, but outside it looks a bit rough, and the parking lot is in poor shape.nnThe location itself isn't great for food options without a walk that requires you to run across a busy road. There is a railroad behind the hotel but it seems to be just to store the passenger train and some retired equipment, I didn't see or hear a moving train once during my stay.nnIf you are looking for an inexpensive hotel that is easy to resume your travels from, i.e. you're just passing through...then I can recommend this property. It was clean and quiet and easy to find and leave from.
The room was nice and clean, there was an additional fee for our fur-baby. The ground level patio door did not open, the TV cable did not work, so if you visit, bring your fire stick. Take out for dinner was okay, wings and poutine were very good. The breakfast buffet was impressive at first, but everything in the steam table was cold. The convenience was that it is walking distance to concert arena
I’ve stayed at this motel many times since the summer of 2023. For the price, the rooms were ok and the breakfast was great. It could have been cleaner but overall not bad.nnI stayed here again this last February 2025 with family. We had two rooms, between the two rooms we found a pill, earphones, a hair pin and just trash in general on the floor and under the bed skirts that were halfway off the beds.nnThe faux leather was peeling off the couch, the light fixture was halfway falling off the wall, a headboard was crooked and then actually fell off the wall and a lamp was broken.nnAlmost everything felt grimey and dirty to the touch. There was a large dried up stain in the carpet that was old puke or something unknown. The bathroom door was visibly filthy as was the frame on the vanity mirror.nnThe breakfast was still good but unfortunately they destroyed the dining room by piling everything up in the corner except for tables and chairs.nnThe rooms were very dirty, rundown and in need of repair and all new furniture and fixtures. I will not be staying here ever again.nnI am confident in saying that any great review you see here in the last few months is most likely the management and staff boosting their own rating. There is no way any paying customer would give this place a 4 or 5 star review.
This an older hotel that has been very well refurbished. The rooms are large and clean the beds are super comfortable. However the complimentary breakfast was cold and did not offer a variety. The restaurant is closed at this time April/25. Very good price for what you are getting. N.B. They also require a deposit of $250.00 refundable when you check out.
