This hotel is by far the worst I have ever stayed in.nnOne star for the smell in the room, it's obvious that even though it is suppose to be a non smoking room people have smoked in the room. The room felt like it had recently been used for homeless accommodation and been hastily cleaned for our stay.nnZero stars for service as I did not appreciate being woken up repeatedly between 2 and 5 am by the homeless people that they rent rooms to. The homeless people were congregating in the hall outside of our room and knocking on on our door I guess they were looking for each other.nnZero stars for location, across the road from the hotel beside the parking lot for the hotel in the church is a safe injection site. This brings all the associated people and issues with it. Given this one would assume that there would be security on site in the hotel and a occasional prescience of the police. Neither have been seen.nnI would strongly advise everyone to NOT STAY in this hotel until they manage their homeless business policy. I'm sympathetic to the homeless people and believe the situation could be better managed.n1 Have security in the lobby during the night.n2 Confine the homeless guests to one floor so that they cannot affect other guests.n3 On the floor were the homeless are being sheltered have security present.n4 Pair females with male staff during the night for their safety and well being.
I travel for work and this hotel rates as the worst experience I've had. The room had a slight smell. On further investigation I found trash in the side table. Then a bug flew by and I started looking around the room. I used the light on my phone and discovered bugs near the headboard, which turned out to be BED BUGS. It was a cold night at -10 degrees Celsius and I started looking in the area for another hotel. I went down to change rooms and I was informed they were sold out. So I spent the night online trying to find another hotel while walking between the lobby and the room. Where I sat at the desk. The next morning I asked to check out and I was told I would not have to pay for the nights stay but the manager charged me anyway. She was quite arrogant and acted like it was my problem. In the time I interacted with her there were 6 other guests complaining of similar problems. Unfortunately these hotel are housing the homeless. It is really frustrating that I am charged over $100 in a downtown area for a hotel that is trashed by homeless individuals. I will never stay here again and I suggest you spend your money elsewhere. If there is any doubt I will attach pictures. If the management responds to this review, any remorse they express is bogus as I have given them many chances to redeem themselves and do the right thing.
My husband and I stayed here and the experience made us feel so unsafe. We had a trailer and had to park across the street, we worried about it being safe. We lasted 20min. We had to leave. We tried to use the stairs to walk down from the 3rd floor and one of them was so dungy and the other one looked like people were living in it. I asked to pay a penalty as they were not busy and they charged me full price. No sympathy, we were not going to sleep. If you don't like strong smells, it does smell like curry. We will never stay here again.
Hotel room smelled like cigarettes and I found a can filled with ashes and narcan spray on my window ledge. My door lock was also broken like someone had kicked it in. When I voiced the concerns to the front desk she told me the cleaning lady had a dinner and must’ve missed it.nThe bathtub also did not drain while a showered and the floor of it felt like it had air pockets.nYou have to park your car across the street where people were literally smoking crack. I asked for a refund as I’m driving across the country and was willing to continue driving to my next hotel and the woman told me no.nThey also charged me a $350 holding fee. Worst hotel stay I’ve been in and couldn’t get comfortable in the small and unkept room.
Going in and out of building harassed by Crack heads , the staff seemed use to it and no reaction, I had to phone down to tell them to remove the attic doing Crack in from of their lobby doors, elevator didn't and had been out of commission for a couple weeks . Having bad back, not impressed. Sound going on tv. The room itself ok. No hot tub, it's just a bath with jet in room. First night, I had to deal with a bunch of screaming. Would not recommend.
