Clarion Hotel Sudbury

It’s a fine hotel. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Wifi was super flaky - Had to keep resetting it to stream a show. Near train tracks, so occasional noise. Could hear the people in the room next door talking. TV remote didn’t work. Bathroom door didn’t close well. Hot water temperature was so hot you could really hurt yourself with it. Toilet paper holder about to fall off the wall. But generally a fine place to stay for a couple of days.

This is a grungy hotel. The clientele are mostly are druggies.nnThe smell of Drugs, weed & cigarettes are prevalent in the hallways.nnFound drug paraphernalia on the floor in the bedroom - glass pipe.nnYou will stay here because you are desperate or tired. If any other reason, please, do not stay here. Shop around.

Bed had bed bugs, the Hard Rock restaurant attached served us an undercooked burger. However staff was nice and our room had comfy beds just left covered in bed bug bites. Will not stay here again though.

Stay was generally nice and staff is quite friendly. The restaurant was closed for the holiday season so we did not have a chance to check it out. Gym was small and most of the equipment did not have working electronics. Pool and sauna were nice and cleaned during our visit.nnThe room we stayed it was relatively basic and felt pretty dated. Bedsheets were really terrible all around and felt incredibly thin. Rooms are only cleaned every 3 days unless requested, but it felt unneeded during the holiday. From the first day of our visit the bathroom was clearly not well cleaned, our fan barely worked and was covered in a thick layer of dust/grime. The ceiling above the shower had some kind of mold growth, I imagine from the poor ventilation. Was really hoping there would be a bathtub and not just a shower.nnUltimately the location didn't really feel up to the standards of the cost and we won't likely be staying again.

Stayed there for a night during a show at the Caruso Club..The room was very clean,the staff was absolutely great and Hard Rock 42 had the best food..I will most definitely come back again!nKeep up the great work!
