I didn’t know what to expect when I walked into Len's Mill Store. All I knew was that my seamstress sent me there to find a very specific fabric to repair the zipper on my scuba BCD.nnAs soon as I stepped inside, I was honestly impressed. They have everything — an incredible selection of materials, including neoprene and other specialty fabrics I didn’t even realize were available. I found exactly the right fabric for my BCD repair, with plenty of options to choose from.nnThe woman who helped me was absolutely amazing. She took the time to show me different types, colors, and textures, and made sure I understood what would work best for my use case. Her knowledge and willingness to help made the whole experience easy and stress-free.nnIf you need specialty fabric or expert advice, this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend.

Great location. More organized than the Kitchener store- mostly because they have more floor space, it seems. They have a lot of products that do change regularly. If you are looking for something, ask for assistance. The staff are very helpful. A very wide selection of fabrics and crafting materials. If your looking for something specific, this is generally the best place to look.

I wasn't sure what kind of yarn I needed for my project. Liz was a great help, answered all my questions, helped me decide what stitch I would use and what the standard finished size is.

Not as much selection of fleece as the Guelph store, but I love how expansive this location is and how much regular fabric they have. The layout of this one is also super nice which I appreciate. Will absolutely be back for more fabric!!

Avoid Online Fabric Ordering!nnPlaced an order for 13 different fabrics totalling $250, process was easy etc. Upon receiving my order I noticed that the cuts from the bolt were atrocious. I know that you always have to clean up the edges and there is usually a bit of wastage but fabric stores know this and typically cut an extra inch to accommodate for this. That way you get the full useable amount you are paying for.nnIn an effort to correct this before setting up to measure for a quilt pattern, I determined that 70% of the fabric cuts were shorted 9 of them - both due to the cuts and ineffective measurement by cutting staff.nnMistakes happen but solutions can usually be found. So I reached out to the online store, explained the issue, sent photos etc, to find an agreeable solution…..an offer of a $5 credit on a $250 order. What an insult to a cordial and professional concern. No offer to remedy this by switching out the poorly cut shorted fabric they still have stock of all of them, just a pathetic offer of a 2% refund.nnAs a sewer, I am very efficient at cutting fabric for patterns so to not be wasteful and end up with an enormous collection of fabric bits and unusable pieces. However, when shorted on so many yardage pieces for a project, it is near impossible to adjust for this. As a result I now have 9 fabric pieces that cannot be used in my projects.nnSo buyer beware, you may not get what you paid for when ordering online and your options for recourse are nearly non-existent.
