Legislative Assembly of Ontario

A free and interesting tour of the Ontario Legislative Building from 9AM to 5PM all year (and on weekends during summer) at the beginning of the hour that last 30 minutes. The tour guide was informative and provided an interesting look at the history of the building, politics in Ontario and Canada and where laws get made in Ontario. The tour guide and staff were all polite and it was a very good way to spend a half hour on a cold winter day in Toronto. The building is located very close to the Queen's Park subway station and streetcar stop.

You know how Buckingham Palace has The Changing of the Guard? This place needs to have The Moving of the Pictures. Twice per day (one to move them in, one to move them out). Every day.

Pretty nice gardens. My favorite is the remembrance day parade which often starts here or at queens park.

We took the tour guide here. It's at every 30 min of the hour. It's been a great experience. Great for tourists, kids, or even locals like me who's never been interested in politics. ☺️
