LeGallais Veterinary Hospital has been serving the pet population of Aurora and the surrounding area since May of 1999. We are a full service veterinary medical facility offering complete health care including; wellness examinations, preventative medicine programs, pain management and control, vaccinations, surgery, dentistry, radiology, laboratory testing (including wellness profiles), hospitalization, and microchip pet identification.

I recently moved to Aurora and needed a new Vet for my 20yr old cat. I am so happy with them. We seen Dr. Cathy a couple of times and she was awesome. Patient and knowledgeable. The Admin staff are A+++ and the clinic space looks new and is well-appointed.
I was referred to Dr. Doug and I booked an appointment with him through the phone. They asked for my previous vet's info to get the medical history for my dog. It was a pleasant experience booking the appointment with his staff. On the day of the checkup, Dr. Doug spent a good 40 minutes inspecting my dog and checking almost every part of his body. It was a thorough inspection and he taught me how to keep his weight in check and calculate the amount of food I should feed him. He was very patient in explaining the do's and don'ts for caring for my dog and informed me on a few things to watch out for. Lastly he recommended tests/shots that were needed for his age. I've only been to 3 vets so I can't speak from too much experience but it was the best consultation for my dog I've ever had. I am thankful for Dr. Doug's attention to detail and his patience for educating me on my dog. Thank you Dr. Doug and his team!
Me and my family have been going to LeGallais for YEARS. Even when I was a kid this is the only vet I ever remember going to. My family has all moved hours away and we STILL take our pets here. We've had to extraordinary losses within a year and the staff there handled it with so much love and care and sensitivity. They did what they could to help. This was a very painful time and having their support made it that much easier. Thank you for many years of caring for my family.
I just registered my cats with this clinic. The staff are so friendly, especially Dr. Aidin. He is really professional and knowledgeable and built a good relationship with my cats. My cats were really comfortable with him. He patiently explained everything to me and I was so satisfied with this experience. Totally recommend him for your beloved pets.
I would like to say thanks to Dr. Aidin and his team members. Obviously we are now in deep mourning after the death of my beloved cat. Me and my cats lost a companion. Thank you for a card from you and the heartfelt condolences and it's really help. I am lucky to have you as a neighbour.
Dr. Doug and his team are truly the most kind hearted, caring people. My dog and I were clients for almost 13 years and I can attest to their dedication to helping me and my dog. Unfortunately, my dog has recently passed due to old age and advanced illness but everyone at the clinic was in our corner every step of the way. Even once we transitioned to seeing a specialist at a specialized hospital, it was Dr. Doug who would call and check in to see how we were doing, just because he cared so much about us. When I needed to bring my dog in for an emergency, they didn’t hesitate to have him come in at a moment’s notice. All through my dog’s life, they were kind, supportive and made my dog feel comfortable with them. I always felt well informed about choices with my dog’s care because they took the time to explain and answer questions. Choosing a vet can feel difficult. You need to find a team who will be supportive and kind, a team who will listen to what our pets are silently saying when they are sick, and a team who will play with them and keep them comfortable during their annual visits. I have found that all that and more with this clinic. I believe that Dr. Doug and his team are a remarkable group who are passionate about caring for our pets and for their family.

Dr. Doug and his team are so friendly. We are lucky with the great care our sweet little rabbit gets here. They are very helpful and patient and answer all the questions we may have. I would recommend LeGallais to anyone with pets.
Dr. Doug and his staff are absolutely the most dedicated and most caring folks that I have ever dealt with. Dr Doug has gone above and beyond to help my two cats, two bunnies and my puppy. He is truly a gem and his staff and fellow vets are also great with follow up calls etc. I live in Keswick and happily drive to Aurora with my fur babies as I know that they will get the best possible care. I highly recommend them.
Our dogs have been with LeGallais for 4 years but recently had an unpleasant experience with them. Our dog had a broken nail. So, we took pictures of the wound and sent them to LeGallais. We were told to bring him for an examination. The staff came out to get our dog and told us that they will perform the examination which was $95, and prior to any treatment, they will call us to confirm. We went home and heard nothing from them for a few hours. I called again and the staff told me that nothing was done yet and once again was told upon the vet examination, they will call me if there was any further treatment required. After a while, we got a call from them telling us that all treatment was already completed, and we could come pick up the dog. Upon arrival, we realized that he was sedated and was given treatment without our consent and discussion with us. We were billed about $600. We were surprised that the procedure was done without asking us first as advised by their staff “twice”, because upon arrival when we drop off the dog in the morning, we were told that just an examination would be done. If they were to give him further treatment, they would discuss it with us first ! I am disappointed with Legallais for the way they handled my dog in this incident. After discussion with my husband we started to believe this is an ethical issue and hoping this is just a singular case.
