So far so good! Just sent instructions to HLD for conveyancing for a new-built apartment I am purchasing. The experience has been pretty positive so far! Especially thanks to Georgina and Evelyn . They have been easy to reach out to, even on Saturday. They were also very transparent about the costs and assured me there are no hidden costs to the process. The solicitors they allocated us seem to have a good reputation as well. Looking forward to a similarly great experience for the rest of the process!
Roseanne was brilliant. She got to our call and tried to resolve it as quickly as possible and very understanding. Now we wait to see how quickly the solicitor gets back to us after HDL gets involved. We have been waiting for 3 days for their contact! Thanks so much Roseanne!
I have to say at first I was very sceptical of how a company could offer me a quote under half the price of my what had been recommend to me by my estate agents! But I must say I give these guys massive bonus points for my complex case as I have paid exactly what I was quoted by Charlotte. What I really liked was the fact Charlotte double checked everything with me and took the time to go away and confirm a few questions I had and came quickly back to me! Thanks all!
Using the comparison conveyancing website, Home Legal Direct came out on top value wise by a significant amount. So far, Charlotte the agent, has been very professional and good to me, with a slight issue I had almost immediately rectified. Very happy with the service so far, if the solicitors appointed are half as good, I'll be very happy.
The customer service was exemplary throughout the process. No matter what the nature of my query, I felt Home Legal Direct cared about getting a quick resolution. I have just completed the sale & purchase and can highly recommend you at least get a quote.
After dealing both times with Nicolle, she’s was increasingly helpful, patient and knowledgeable, she got me an amazing survey price and handled everything on her hand as quickly as possible! She explained everything in great detail and I can not recommend her enough!

So far I have found the on-boarding process with home legal direct to be a very professional and efficient. Charlotte has been particularly helpful and friendly.
I used their conveyancing service and tbh the poorest service I have ever received in my life. Reasons Turn around time I was meant to finish my transaction within 3-4 months but it’s done in7 months.I wish it was only the turn around time I changed 4 conveyancers during my transaction without informing me. Staff turn over shows everything btw all those conveyancers left Customer service and support was disgrace. Spoke to a manager to raise my complaint he didn’t know how to speak to a clients and kind of he said I don’t care. Quotation: I was quoted 809£ but my last statement I received 1810£. Raised fee disparity with them took literally 4weeks to look into it after chasing several times as urgent matter. Lack of clarity, dignity and very poor communication. I have charged 190£ over the phone as deposit no receipt and not reflected in my statement. I hope I am the first and the last client who had this experience with them. All in all very amateur service and staffs. Good luck if you have contract with them
Hands down the most awful conveyancing experience I have ever had- our case was allocated to Pixie Moves- poor communication, miscommunication, no regular updates, no portal- terrible DO NOT USE Addition- after posting this review Home Legal Direct contacted me. I am now waiting to see whether their intervention will make any difference.
