I had the worst experience at this Service Ontario location while renewing my health card. The staff member started by asking, “Which category are you?” with a bad attitude. When I tried to answer, she immediately reacted strongly and implied that I had given the wrong response.nnI felt offended because her question was unclear, and it felt objectifying to be categorized in that way. Instead of clarifying what documents I needed to complete my application, she put me in a difficult and uncomfortable situation. To make matters worse, she raised her voice, seemingly to humiliate me further.nnNo matter how I responded, she would argue back right away. This is not how a customer service representative should act. Such behavior is unprofessional and reflects poorly on the department.nnI will not be returning to this Service Ontario location. If you decide to visit this one, I wish you the best of luck in getting what you need without being treated as if you’ve done something wrong.

I visited this location on a Friday at 11:30 to renew my health card and driver’s license. I was a little concerned because of the bad reviews. However, I’m pleased to report that the service was good and the entire experience took only 15 minutes: 10 minutes in line and 5 minutes with the service agent. I didn’t notice any of the other customers being treated unprofessionally.

I am disappointed with the service I received at this location. While I cannot speak for other staff members, my experience with one particular employee was frustrating. Her approach and tone made me feel as though I was being blamed for issues beyond my understanding, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional.nnIt’s essential for staff to have a thorough understanding of the services they provide and to communicate with patience and respect. Customers come here seeking assistance and clarity, not criticism, so it’s reasonable to expect professionalism and clear guidance.nnThat said, if you prioritize fast service over quality, this location might suit your needs as it doesn’t seem to be very busy. However, for those expecting basic support and respect, there is definitely room for improvement.nnWhile I’ve noticed other reviews that might reference the same employee, I will refrain from describing anyone specifically out of respect. I hope this feedback helps foster a better and more respectful experience for all customers in the future.

I visited this office today and was disappointed with the service there. I renewed my driver’s license and health card online on November 6th. But I still have not received the cards by mail. I did exactly what the email with receipt says, “…If you have not received a new driver's licence in the mail by the date indicated in your driver's licence renewal confirmation or 5 days before your temporary driver's licence expiry date, visit a ServiceOntario centre and you will be issued a temporary driver's licence if you are eligible…”. The lady who served me was annoyed and rude, seemed unprofessional. She said why I came to the office; I was supposed to download something from a link in the email. Even though there were no download links in the email. I showed her the email. She kept telling me I didn't know what I was doing.nnI haven't encountered such a rude service for a long time. It seems like other negative comments for this location are related to this lady.

I read the reviews of this Service Ontario location before heading to get my driver’s license and health card renewed. The reviews were mostly negative so I was prepared for a long wait and/or poor service. When I arrived at the location, there were 5 people already being served plus 6 people ahead of me waiting in line. The service representatives were very efficient and polite with the clients. The lady who served me was very patient and kind to me. My renewals were done within 15 minutes from the time I arrived at the location. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
