Great sushi and service! Went for a late late dinner, almost 30 min before the closing time, but they happily served us and even said no need to rush as they had to take some time to clean the kitchen. All the ingredients are fresh. Honestly I would recommend it all, but the rolls that had something special.
The food here is fantastic and really fresh. It's a hidden gem for sushi rolls and salmon sashimi. The Korean dishes are well portioned and seasoned and everything always comes out at the right temperature. Happy we discovered this place even though it's far from our home. Dietary restrictions: The chicken they use here is halal!! It's such a great addition.
Their menu offers Korean and Japanese dishes which is always a great combo. We tried their Korean spicy beef ramen which we found pretty underwhelming needed more heat. The sushi however, WOW. I think I found a new sushi favourite! Lee ga surprised me with their very tasty and fresh sushi rolls. The restaurant is quaint and nicely decorated. Staff are friendly and provide great service. Definitely will be a returning customer :
Great tasting Korean food that isn’t overly salty or sweet like other places. I didn’t have to drink lots of water after eating their food. The seafood soondubu was delicious and the seafood wasn’t fishy. The beef bulgogi had a nice smokey flavour and our kids loved the japchae noodles. Even the ramen was a pleasant surprise when it didn’t taste like it came from a package. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes!
Hands down the best sushi place around. Everything is fresh and flavourful. Now that you can order online and pay with cards, even better! The bibimbap is also delicious. A local gem in Bells Corners!
Good Korean food and pleasant service. Ordered online and waited 1 hour to pickup. I didn’t get a notification when the food was ready for pickup but instead they gave me a pickup time once I placed the order. It’s not necessarily obvious but the portions ordered on the website are half rice. Felt a bit misled since Bulgogi usually comes with rice, but it’s not usually half the whole container for the same price as other restaurants. The price might be steep, especially for the noodle dish japchae that is just carb noodle on rice. I did not choose the lunch menu btw. Their jaeyukbokkum is better than the Korean place on merivale road. Bulgogi was also good. I’ll probably return.
Ordered my favourite seafood soondubu soup for takeout tonight. It’s a spicy Korean soup with soft tofu. Called in and it was ready in less than half hour. It was so good and hit the right spot!! Courteous customer service. Will definitely come back and try more of their menu.
This is such amazing sushi!! We keep buying more every time we order because it’s so damn good. The chefs are so friendly, kind, also really handsome. Good food is worth waiting for, big orders are a little tough for them to do but they do it with such perfection, it’s worth the wait.
We've ordered from here a few times but this last time deserved this review. The sushi is great, always, that's never been a question. This time I'd ordered a platter and they forgot one of my orders of shrimp nigiri I'd ordered 2 and only got one. I wasn't too concerned so thought I'd just tell them next time and they'd include it that time, but then my phone rang and they called me to say they realized their mistake and were very sorry. It's not about what happened, but how they deal with it that matters to me. The fact that they acknowledged the error and then proactively called me was amazing, especially since they are so busy and still took the time. I will be loyal for life! Pro tip - order early as the whole world now knows how amazing they are and an order will often take 90 minutes or slightly more during peak times. It well worth the wait.
Ordered the beef bibimbap, seafood soondubu and the toppoki. Everything was delicious and service was excellent! Such a great hidden gem for Korean food in Bells Corners.
