Sushi Sama

Fresh tasting sushi. Sushi was made to order. Unfortunately the rice was bland tasting. Almost like it’s missing vinegar and seasoning. Ordering was fast and easy. Nice option for ordering sushi a la carte on the west end. I would order again in future!

It was fantastic when I first opened the box. The cuisine was fresh, and the natural colour design was also very enticing. Even the ginger and wasabi in the sushi was placed in a floral pattern. It was really nice to have sushi with lettuce wrapped in rice paper for the first time. We three girls had eaten two boxes of sushi and were stuffed.

Best sushi in Ottawa , i tried so many places but this one is the best, every-time i get it, i never get disappointed, the quality is always consistent and the best, give you so much sauce and the service and delivery is so fast. i always get sushi there! Definitely recommend !

I just order this today. Good packaging, friendly staff. They are really patient to help me place the orders because I can’t eat raw fish. And the hand roll look amazing. Best sushi in town I have ever had.

This is the first time I visit Sushi Sama. I ordered two poke bowls — the spicy salmon and the lobster bowl. I also received free shrimp tempuras. It was very tasty. There was not even a morsel rice left. On top of that, everyone that was working there were super friendly and friendly. Having great employees are as important as the food itself. I would definitely visit again.

We ordered 6 of the 100-piece platters plus chopsticks, sauces, sauce cups to be delivered to our home for an important celebration. Everything plus complimentary desserts was delivered right on time, the variety was enormous, and the sushi was spectacular, fresh, and amazing. This is our new favourite sushi restaurant!

I have done take out twice and love the sushi. I am vegan and am able to have very delicious items. The poke bowl, rolls and hand rolls are all really tasty. This will now be my go to place for vegan sushi.

Ordered lunch for my husband and I. Was hoping to dine in but didn’t realize the place is takeout only. However, The sushi was amazing. I’m a sushi connoisseur since I’m from Vancouver LOL we just moved to Ottawa and I’m very impressed with this takeout place. The prices are really reasonable particularly the lunch specials! and the ingredients in them were very fresh. Super comparable to what I’m used to. The only downside for me were the albacore nigiri pieces, which weren’t as fresh, but I wasn’t expecting much considering albacore is from the west I was just feeling nostalgic. For the two lunch specials we ordered, C and D, we got more food than we could eat but of course we managed to stuff it down. I really liked the chef’s choice of rolls in the specials, I initially was worried they might skimp on more raw fish but I was wrong. Big rolls filled with ingredients and especially impressed with the salmon rolls. I honestly am thinking of coming back for lunch tomorrow…

I've been hesitant to order sushi for takeout/delivery but I'm so glad I decided to take a chance on Sushi Sama! I ordered delivery for the 28 assorted tray chefs choice and I loved it all. It was a really great assortment. The food was all very fresh and well made.

The quality fish surpassed my expectations! I was a little on the fence ordering because the price seemed a bit steep. Once I saw the quality prep and how large the portions were, I was surprised. And of course, it tasted just as good as it looked.
