Le Rouge

We had a group reservation on the weekend. Excellent service from the greeting at the door to the payment at the end. Great selection to choose from. We were a mid size group and there was something for everyone. The Private dining room was great option. Appetizers were a great start, especially the Mussels and the Crab Cake. The Steak, Prime Rib and the Halibut were AMAZING and the Salted Caramel dessert was a delicious ending to our meal. Decor and atmosphere are second to none. Kudos to the Chef and the team at La Rouge. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Parking: Lots of parking available.

We love this restaurant. We've been here 3 times and had a great meal and experience each time. We brought 6 friends with us on our last visit and everyone loved it. The Asian chicken nachos are amazing. The lime sour cream drizzle on them is so tasty. My husband had the ribs and said they're the best beef ribs he's had in the city. I've had the burger and the prime rib sandwich, both were amazing. We'll definitely be back!

Le Rouge is located in the Halifax Tower Hotel. It is a new dining experience in Bayer's Lake area. Wonderful service, the staff there are friendly and helpful. The environment is fantastic. Sitting is not crowded between other tables, very clean and nice open area that made you feel so relaxing and comfortable. A wonderful place to enjoy a meal with family, friends or business partner. I ordered the seafood chowder which is very creamy and rich with salmon, halibut, shrimp and mussels. I usually don't eat the tea biscuits, but this house baked tea biscuits is amazing. The lobster croissant is full of lobster meat, I can taste the lobster in every bite. I will definitely be back and try the steaks or ribs next time.

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing! We are staying at the Halifax Tower Hotel and we’ve been at the restaurant twice. The food is so delicious! We highly recommend trying the shrimp ravioli, chilli shrimp, lobster, crab cake, and 24k chocolate cake! Staff was very accommodating, we didn’t make reservations but they got us in right away on a Saturday night. Our server was so kind to us, thank you! Very nice layout of the restaurant. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant out for seafood!! My husband and I will definitely be back!

The food was amazing! It was hard to choose from the menu of such great options, plus they have a separate vegan menu I am not vegan. I made a very basic choice of a black bean burger and salad. The burger was full of flavor and my caesar salad was as big as the burger! My friends loved their meals as well! Their cocktail & wine menu is fairly extensive and they can custom make drinks as well to suit your fancy or to cater to allergies. Lots of people there at dinnertime, but emptied out by 9pm. The music was quite loud, but so were we, so having a privately room suited us. Service was great, each and every person working there greeted us as we arrived as well as we left. We will definitely return to try out some more of the delicious meal choices! Vegetarian options: They have a separate vegan menu on top of the vegetarian options on the regular menu! Parking: A bit confusing to know where to park, but there is a big parking lot either way next to Tim Hortons & Wendy's. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is one level and there are no stairs to get in. I did not pay attention whether they had automated doors. Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options and a separate vegan menu. Meals & drinks can be modified to avoid allergens.

Le Rouge was an amazing spot to go to for dinner I highly recommend even if you’re just going for a casual drink. The decor is beautiful and welcoming and the environment is very warm. The staff were wonderful to speak with and the service was impeccable! A huge bonus was that almost their whole menu was or could be made gluten free, as I’m celiac. They even have their own dedicated fryer! The staff was very knowledgeable on allergies and very accommodating! The food was delicious we had the truffle fries as an appetizer - highly recommend and I had the chipotle steak for my main! It is spicy but delicious! Their cocktails were also wonderful!

Very fancy upper class restaurant setting. We had shrimp ravioli, halibut, salmon, lettuce salad, lemon tart, chocolate cake, and one more desert they have three so we tasted all they were all excellent quality and delicious except Lemon tart was mediocre. Service was excellent and 1st class. We were happy

Finally got around to trying this new restaurant in Bayers Lake. The restaurant itself is new and the red decor is nice. Food was very tasty, we had the Asian nachos not pictures to start, then the prime rib and the Sirloin Oscar. Both were delicious. Our server was Taylor who was so friendly, one of the nicest servers. I'll certainly be back. Parking: Lots of free parking

First time at Le Rouge. Very pleasant experience! Crab cake and the Flatbread were delightful!!! Lobster Sandwich was great. Croissant was moist and held well, considering everything in the sandwich. Will plan another. Hopefully they have lamb availableThat'sreally what we wantedto try.Food: 5/5
