The new Lion's Head Tavern looks very modern and chic. The service was on time pick up, staff member friendly, food decent, price okay. We hope to go and dine in sometime once things open. Good luck to them.
65 dollars worth of grabage. I'm not even going to rant about how awful this food was. I'll just say that it was especially nice getting the deep fryers grits in the hot honey chicken, and let the pictures speak for themselves. Are you embarrassed? Because I'm embarrassed for you!
My first time in the new location, and I think that they kept the sense of the old place but with a lot more light and height. The fish and chips was wonderful--perfectly cooked and hot on arrival. I was impressed with the portion size.
The new location is really attractive. We had brunch on the ground floor. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and the coffee was good. I had a western omelette and it was fine for what it was. The portions were generous. The menu looked decent. I think the patio on the roof will be busy when it opens.
Had a great time ,and found it quiet reasonable , had fish and chips & chicken wings + pitcher of beer $44 enjoyed the ambiance and the service of the waitress who kept a check on my food and drinks ,seriously had a good time missed my friends though
As pubs go in Halifax, the space is incredible! Great beer selection and lots of screens to catch a game. The turkey dinner was a stand out with sweet and sour cranberry sauce going well with the gravy. Nothing but good things to say!
Service very good. Beer cold. Nacho's are, adequate. Overall, has the feel of a very good airport "pub".
