Not been for years remember going with gran thinking it for der people! Today I had a shock when I went there great selection of things ranging from gifts birthday cards wrapping paper designer clothing superdry, joules, barbour perfumes creams nightwear home products for the kitchen etc .. I was shocked at the selection they have.. definatly worth a visit if your in Halifax.. tried the cafe this eas also really good the hot chocolate was really nice and the food sizes were really good portions. Friendly staff in the cafe who were willing to help and tweek the order to our satisfaction.. looked to be a good selection of cakes aswell but after eating the delicious turkey sandwich which had plenty of turkey and chips I couldn't eat much else. They also had a lovely Christmas display which my 5 year old niece really enjoyed looking at.
First time visit to 1st floor ladies shoes with my 18 year old daughter. My daughter has very wide feet and struggles to get suitable day footwear. After a disastrous visit to Clarks "perhaps you might want to look at men's shoes! As they are wider!" Arrived to a very busy shoe department but acknowledged immediately and asked to have a look around. Found lots of shoes and boots suitable for a wide foot. Purchased two funky pairs of teenager boots that fit perfectly. Very surprised at cost as I presumed you would be out of my budget . One very happy teenager and equally happy mum. Thank you for your outstanding customer service. Definitely a customer for life.
A quality store with the most beautiful goods in every department .The best store for miles around . Delicious food in cafe. , Unbeatable ,crumbly scones !A joy to visit .The star of Halifax's shopping experience. I remember Mr.Ian Harvey .He would be proud and thrilled to see how the store has moved with the times and offers such a fine shopping experience .
Always love it here don't go often enough, shopping here tearoom and restaurant recommended. I requested Wheat gluten food, cakes too Proud to say they cater for allergies also vegans, so appreciated loads choice nice cakes biscuits.
I just have to share the restaurant! If you are a butter fan like me, you need to have a toasted fruit t-cake in the restaurant. There was SO much butter I was in butter heaven! I will be dreaming of that buttered toasted t-cake tonight, and I will def be back for another. It was heaven on a plate.
I needed a gift for my adult sons birthday & eventually asked at the Clinique counter for some advice. The assistant was fab , helped me to choose & l left feeling that she was genuinely pleased to have helped me. The atmosphere in the whole perfumery was comfortable & relaxed. I rarely visit Harvey’s but will certainly do so more now!
I love this store. I normally visit their other store in the peace hall but do from time to time come into the main store. Love the restaurant and bag department the most .
Really friendly and helpful staff, you want a sat nav to find your way around, super place to go and absolutely spotless. We had a push chair and great granddaughter with us so getting around was hard.
Loved the store. Staff were so friendly. Just wish their website was more modern as I don't live in Halifax and the website shows very little.
Lovely to shop and browse at leisure, very friendly and helpful staff. Very stylish and quality goods. Good to still have a shop like this in Halifax.
