Le Café de l'Horloge

Wow wow wow wow. My husband and I chose Le Café de l’Horloge for our August 2024 wedding and we have NO regrets. Mylène and Yasmine handled everything from start to finish and it resulted in the most beautiful, garden wedding of my dreams. I was the photographer for an event at Le Café de L'Horloge in December. The café has so much character with a gorgeous stained-glass feature at the entrance. A beautiful view overlooking the water, perfect to photograph weddings or portraits. We were lucky with mild temperatures for photographs outside in winter! Friendly and helpful staff. A hidden gem in Rigaud!

The team made the day flow effortlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy the moments without worrying about the details. They were not only professional but also warm and kind.nnFrom the very beginning, they took the time to understand what we were looking for, then executed on our vision and brought all of our ideas to life.nnOur guests were genuinely impressed, and we received so many kind words about how lovely everything was. We used Cafe de L’horloge for our wedding ceremony and reception and we could not have made a better choice.nnThe venue was absolutely beautiful - both indoors and outdoors - the attention to detail was impeccable.nnThe planning phase went well, they were very responsive to our questions throughout the entire process. They guided us with their expertise where needed. They were also very accommodating to the last minute changes due to weather. As a result, we felt little stress during the planning process and confident in our decisions.nnOn the day of the wedding, the staff was very attentive to all our needs and requests, and were able to accommodate and make requested changes on the go, which left us very happy and grateful.nnIf you’re planning to have an intimate wedding, there’s no better place than Cafe de L’horloge.

We went end of March for high tea. It was such a lovely experience. We practically had the place all to ourselves. We were a group of 10 people. I had reserved days in advance and the owner was very quick to respond and accommodate our request.nnVery lovely owner and her staff are so friendly, accommodating and patient. The place has a lot of old charm with a great touch of elegance. The tea and food were delicious, but definitely you should not be too hungry when you come here as it is meant to be an in between meal affair/snack. They offer savory and sweet little hors d'oeuvres with tea. They had a good selection of tea. Their scones were served hot, yum. They had lemon poopy seed an coconut scones. Both were delicious.nnWe will book again for May to see their river views when spring is in full bloom.nnThe place is used for special events like weddings, anniversaries and such. I can imagine it being a great spot for such occasions.
