Lazio Italian Bakery

I found Lazio Italian Bakery by chance on Maps and so happy that I found this gem. The most delicious slice of vegetarian pizza and tiramisu dessert was purchased here! The highlight was the $8 price tag for lunch- reasonable for the portions. Service was fast on a busy Sunday afternoon, I was in-and-out in less than 5 minutes. Looking forward to another visit when I'm in the area.

One of the best pastries in all GTA, why ?! I will give you the answers 1- the quality of the food was excellent 2 - the hospitality of the workers was high level, they are very nice all the time doesn’t matter how much they are busy all the time they smiled in you face 3 - all the time, the workers and store are clean cut 4- what i like, the owner all the time there working with them ‍ 5- all baked, frozen and gelato products was my favorite one 6- the price cheaper than the franchise cafe!!

I've been coming to this bakery since I was a kid definitely my favorite Italian bakery in Mississauga. The breads here are amazing, love the olive bread and small paninos. The hot table has some great selection, my go to choices are the rice balls and veal sandwiche. The pastries are top shelf my favorite is the pistachio cannoli and they make one of my favorite apple pies. They also have prepared meals in the freezer, from delicious meat lasagnas to cannelloni and sausages. If your in a pinch these are great to throw in the oven and the family will love it!! If your in the area stop in you won't be disappointed.

Went to Lazio's under the recommendation of a lot of my Italian acquaintances for authentic homemade gelato, and I wasn't disappointed! I had the lemon, mango, hazelnut, and tiramisu gelato flavors to try and so far they all tasted great! The lemon is refreshing and tangy! But if I had to pick a favorite right now it'd be the hazelnut gelato! They also sell gelato by the pint or pan, though I think the pint is cheaper as I bought some mango sorbet in a pint to bring home. Lazio's has a wonderful selection of cold cut sandwiches, desserts, and dry goods. The next time I come back I'll definitely buy a dessert or cake there along with more gelato!

If you're going to any other bakery you're making the wrong decision. The hot table is fantastic, the catering is amazing, , the gelato is fresh and made in store, and all of the baked goods are to die for. Jon and his family do a great job and treat me like family every time I step foot in the bakery regardless of how busy it is! Would recommend to anyone looking for catering, a hot table, or a simple espresso and gelato.

We live nearby and come here at least once a week. It is such a great spot; the staff is warm and friendly, and everything is delicious and well priced. Highly recommend all the pastries and the fresh bread.

I used to love this place, but since the renovation they don't seem to stock the deli very well anymore. W weeks in a row they are out of the meat I've been getting here for years. I guess a fancy space was more important than stocking the product needed to serve the customer. Oh well, time to find a new deli I guess.

Fantastic place! Just walking in the front door makes you hungry with all the freshly baked pizza, bread, pies, and much more. Definitely pop in and give them a taste. Highly recommended.

Wonderful little bakery, busy on the weekends so heads up! Great selection and variety, helpful staff, delicious food that's always fresh.. cannot recommend them enough especially the gelato when it's available Their hot table has some of THE BEST pasta-- the cheese ravioli is so good, you don't miss the meat! If you want fresh pastries, I highly suggest to come here, and call ahead if you're looking for certain items or want large orders... I'm a fan of cannolis They also have a coffee/espresso bar that's brewed fresh daily/regularly, the place always smells delightful-- but it's a bakery, it always smells great unless you don't like the smell of fresh bread... And if you don't why are you there??? I bought Pretzel Bagels yesterday, and there's only one left today they rarely last in my house!

Lovely bakery, great customer service. The custard fruit cakes are amazing my family loves them! We ordered it for two birthdays and mothers day. Definitely a staple for occasions in my family .
