After a nice visit in port credit we decided it was time for dessert. Ordered a strawberry short cake cone and the dream cone. Very filling and love the fact they stuff the cone with goodies based on the theme of ice cream you order. Staff is friendly and baked the cones fresh. Very satisfying and the cone is unique. Great job!
Frankly, this dessert is highly overrated & overpriced! It is $10.95 before taxes when it should be half this price! The vanilla soft serve is of poor quality with respect to flavour and constituents… It has a diluted taste of milk and sugar. The berry compote is placed at the bottom when it should be placed half way when filling the cone with ice-cream. This photo is a decent one of my friend’s while my cone was poorly prepared and had the berry drizzle allover the cone instead! My hands were annoyingly sticky with all the drizzle stuff. I’m even sorry for the suggestion to stop there! I had to apologize to my friend! Never again!
Ordered tiramisu cone, the cone was unique. There is place to sit inside. They do have burgers and other stuffs in menu too.
After Dinner at one of the restaurants in the area, went to get Eva's Original Chimneys for a nice dessertand something to eat while on a walk on the lakefront. It was our first time here and this place definitely didn't disappoint!!! I don't think the flavour you get will matter because they're all so good! However, the only reason why this place is getting a 4/5 and not 5/5 is because the Chimney holder could be a bit more quality. The ice cream melting seeps through at the bottom. Overall, I would definitely come back and recommend to a friend What we ordered: -Oreos Cookies and Cream Chimney Cone -Caramel Brownie Nutella Crunch -Salted Caramel Chimney Cone Not pictured
Heard about the famous chimney cones, tried them and loved it! The quantity is good enough to finish if you skip your meal or better when shared; Definitely coming again to try different flavours!
Incredible Ice Cream! The cones are made fresh and infront of you. The cone adds on to the quality/taste of their product. - 8 Ice Cream Flavours total - cone or cup *at the base of every cone is a surprise chocolate ball that stops the ice cream from falling through - 6 customers at a time - masks mandatory - Drinks, Pizza & Burgers served as well - parking just around the corner west of building, turn south *Mango Coconut *Cookies & Cream So far so great
Expensive but excellent & filling ice cream cones. "Chimneys" or "Dougnut Cones" are like hollow cinnabon rolls filled with ice cream! This is what makes the cones so filling & also expensive because you are getting a roll of bread which can carry a ton of ice cream. The Chimneys are freshly made at their shop and you get them hot when they hand them over. We tried out the OG & Dreamworks cones which are around $10 each. Both were excellent & a treat to enjoy. The ice cream quality is top notch & quantity is guaranteed to fill you up. People who do not like cinnamon may not love these as much but we are certainly going back to try other flavours.
Finally got to try this famous chimney cone!! Chimney cone is a Hungarian pastries like a doughnut cone. It’s crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy in the inside. I LOVE this unique pastry! Dream come 10/10 - caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, skor, Nutella, brownies Eating this is like a surprise. I LOVE chimney cone. Perfect chewiness and crunchiness. After finishing the top part, there are a lot of surprises inside. There are also a lot of skor crumbles inside and there is a chocolate sphere not sure at the bottom. Everything is delectable and flavourful Tiramisu - mascarpone, expresso-soaked lady finger biscuits, cocoa, slice of tiramisu. Love it! Surprised there is a slice of tiramisu inside!! There are lots of flavours to choose from and you can also personalise it to your liking! It’s definitely on a pricey side as it’s very unique. But it’s definitely worth it! $9.95+ tax for premium cone
I was here on Monday afternoon with my 2 little girls who had been looking forward to this ice-cream all weekend. Based on the available information on Google map, it said the store will be open at 4pm so we hung around for a bit before getting here. We got here, parked and realized they were not open. We waited till 5:12 when our paid parking time was up and still no one showed up. Called the number here on Google map and the voice message said they are open at 4pm Sundays to Thursdays. None of the stores around them could say what happened or why they were a no show.
Chimney cones were tasty but took over 22 minutes for one mango and two mini OG cones. Staff were nice but moving at a snail’s pace while over 20 customers were in the store waiting to order/receive their food. Likely won’t be coming back due to the wait.
