Lazare's BBQ House

I've only ever ordered delivery via uber from here and the food is hot and fresh and delicious every time. Love the plantains. Always a great char on the chicken. I was super hungry and already ate quite a few bites of everything but here's the quarter chicken meal:

I have never visited Africa before but the food takes you there with every bite. I first ordered the chicken combo and it was awesome, today I ordered the fish and it was so delicious !

Lazzare is a newly opened African restaurant. Food was very good with plantain potatoes as well as rice and other traditional African foods. Definitely recommend for a late night take home or a lunch take out!Food: 4/5

This is an amazing restaurant to go to if you are in the area. The bbq chicken is my favorite and it’s cooked over hot coals. The portions are fantastic and will definitely fill you up. The plantains are done properly as well. Owners are great too! They do lose a star unfortunately for the lack of consistency. If you go there during peak times you will receive a hit piping meal. Off peak times I have noticed that the food is not as fresh and the rice is old. For the price point I expect a much better consistency.

I order from them alot almost daily lol and they are nice people and food is really good but yesterday was my first time trying their fish and i got food poisoning from it and suffering the consequences now very disappointing and won’t be returning for that reason but asides the fish everything else isn’t bad.

Chicken was way over cooked and wayyyyy to spicy almost burnt my face off. When i approached the staff they refused to fix it. Definitely do not recommend. Not at all the same as Orleans location.

Wow! Just had it delivered from ubereats and it was delicious food. We each got got a chicken skewer combo, it came with two skewers, generous portion of rice, cabbage and carrots, fried plantains, and a side salad with dressing. I dug in too fast and forgot to take a picture, I can't wait to order this again! The menu was a bit confusing on the app but someone from the restaurant called me and cleared it up and said they were gonna take a look. I also got a bissap juice and it's so tasty! However, if you don't like flowery tastes I don't recommend trying it. Telling all my friends to eat here, no question.
