I can't say enough good things about this hidden gem. I haven't had charcoal BBQ like this in Ottawa in the past 2 decades. I took the family platter, that has all the various skewers. since the place is small, best to do a takeout. The setting could use a facelift, but then again it's the food in these sort of gems that have you returning.I hope they continue with their taste and quality for years to come.

Last time we ordered mixed grill. It was juicy, tender and well seasoned. I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s very clean and their prices are reasonable. It’s the best middle-eastern BBQ in Ottawa and Gatineau. Don’t forget to order hummus and garlic on the side ;

Placed an order from this place the mixed platter came with beef and chicken fries and some veggies. The portion is not too big but the price is more than reasonable 16$ plus tax . The food was very tasty and you get pita with it . I would definitely try other stuff and order again . I recommend!

Literally and honestly one of the worst restaurants in Ottawa! Had a stop there after seeing the good reviews and ordered a very light meal and it took them more than an hour to make the food ready! The restaurant was very crowded and the staff asked us to change our table because they weren’t able to place a big family with whatever they had in the venue. Omg! The restaurant wasn’t clean and the restroom was awfuly dirty…! While being there waiting to have our food ready, I’ve seen a lot of skip the dish and Uber eats drivers waiting for a long time to get the orders. While giving the order, the person on the front told us they sold out the rice but I’ve seen them serving the rice to the family came 30 mins after us- we were amazed and such a shame! Their ventilation system wasn’t working properly and smoke all over the place! With the customers that they have I understand that working for them would be a overwhelming but I overheard employees fighting together which made us very uncomfortable. Food finally came in after quite a long time… and the quality was of average. I am a foodie person and love middle eastern cuisines but will not visit this place ever again!

Good food quality, fresh and tasty. Not suitable to dine in, only three tables in the small dining area, poor service. The Mixed Mashwi plate was a good choice, they brought food in paper plates, no water offered! Taboleh salad is over priced. Not going there again. It's recommended only for take away!

The charcoal grill makes it even better, but the quality of the meat and chicken and portions are amazing! The workers are beyond amazing! In and out, absolutely loved everything about this hidden gem! Also, I’m very picky about this kind of food since visiting Lebanon, this is the first place in Canada that I genuinely enjoyed that reminded me of Lebanon

I checked the reviews and went yesterday. As others have said I was not disappointed. My called in order for the family meal was ready when I arrived. This is not a big fancy place but they DO cook on real charcoal and you can see the grill from the entrance. This makes a world of difference on the taste and we truly enjoyed our meal.

Our first time here, and we liked it. Staff was friendly, food was good, and prices were reasonable. I am glad we ordered take-out because the sitting place was full of smoke from the grill. They have a parking lot. Parking: Parking available and shared with Subway.

Laheeb has quickly become a family favorite! Everything is always so tender and flavorful. I will note though that the portions are a lot smaller and not as generous as other Middle Eastern restaurants. We have also found discrepancies amongst orders. Sometimes our fries or humus will be filled as expected and other times halfway filled. Still deserves a 5 star as everything is always fresh and delicious.

I placed an order on their website for 2x "6-person meals" + large sweet, the website was really easy to use. I showed up, and my food was ready & waiting at the counter. I didn't have to call or anything. Very smooth process & great food too.
