Several months ago, I visited a salon in Durham for a haircut, but unfortunately, the results were far from what I expected. The outcome left me feeling very self-conscious and caused significant stress, which eventually led to noticeable hair loss. After much hesitation, I finally decided to trust another stylist to address the issue, and I’m relieved to say the experience was much more positive. Trusted NATALIE and I instantly gained my confidence back! She was amazing. She suggested I don’t cut my hair short to start over but instead she suggested to “fix” my hair for it to grow back to my comfort style. SHE IS AMAZING!!! Prior to visiting Lavish, I reached out by email to inquire as I had recently had a negative experience at ANOTHER salon and was really hoping for some care, attention and a stylist that could figure out how to fix what was done to my hair, restore my faith that I could find a new stylist but-also, be able to share their expertise and give me some peace of mind that moving to a new area doesn’t mean I have to sacrifice a great haircut and awesome service.nnJen-who is one of the owners, replied to my email inquiries and provided me with some options and was also mindful of my rather limited schedule. She helped to secure an appointment with Jenna-Lee.nnJenna-Lee…oh my goodness, where do I begin? I immediately felt at ease. She listens. Yes, I know that may seem like a very simplistic statement but she is focused on the client, she listens, she makes one feel comfortable and she is able to just make one feel like you are the only person in the room.nnTo top it off, Jen came by and introduced herself that evening. For me-I return because of the people and-of course because I want a professional tending to my hair. I told Jen that Jenna-Lee is a good human. I left knowing that she is AND she is a great stylist.nnThank you Jen and Jenna-Lee. I look forward to returning.

Had such a great experience, had. Cut and colour done that was long over due. Enjoyed a hand massage while getting styled. What a fun buzzing spot. I already booked my next visit:

Jenna is an absolute professional at what she does! I entrusted her with balayage colour and haircut, and the result exceeded all my expectations! She carefully listened to all my preferences and explained each step of the process in detail. Communication with her was easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend her!

Oh my goodness!! I'm still floating from my Tulasara Facial this morning with Rita. What a wonderful experience. Rita is a calming presence, a skilled technician with the perfect energy to deliver a healing experience. I had the 60-minute Tulasara Facial foot and hand massage included. I'm so relaxed, and my skin is glowing. I booked a 90-minute facial for next month, a relaxation massage for next week, and picked up some Aveda products. I am grateful to have found an Aveda Salon close to home! nnUpdate: The relaxation massage is to die for!!!
