I brought my mom here for her birthday. This is her first try of Thai cuisine and she LOVED it Every dishes is just so good we cant stop eating. Portion is huge and tastes amazing Our server Cindy is so sweet and helpful She definitely made my mom‘s experience all the more better. I would recommend this place for any kind of gathering the atmosphere is perfect

Food and service was pretty good but no dish really stood out. Loved the interior design of the restaurant. Tables were neat and clean and felt spacious. The menu were more on the pricier side for Thai food.

First time been to this Thai restaurant, don't think they offer authentic Thai food.  The place is neat and clean, but tables are too close to each other with no distancing at all.    Waitresses are very nice and friendly.  However, food is really a big issue - hot dish is not hot enough; curry chicken is simply 2 chicken legs being put into curry sauce with no taste/seasoning.  With this expensive price in downtown Markham, the food should not be like this..

Celebrating Birthday Dinner with family and friends at Lanna Cuisine. We have a great time and delicious meals from start to finish. All servers are so attentive to our table all night long. Special thanks to Cindy and the other girl sorry, forgot to ask the name for the service and looking forward to come another time.

We had such a pleasant experience at Lanna Thai. Their customer service was amazing beginning till the end. Throughout our whole dinner the staff was attentive; always came to check up on us and changed our plates when needed. The atmosphere and ambience was very picturesque and comfortable. They knew we were celebrating a birthday, gave me a crown for photos and even gifted us dessert on the house. Never once rushed us and never made us feel bad like other restaurants do when it's near closing time. We truly had a great time! Thank you so much for having us. We will definitely be back, the grilled bass was absolutely delicious!

W really enjoyed our meal at Lanna. The waitress Joanne was very friendly. She made sure our little kid had his booster and utensils to eat. That was helpful for us.  The food was really good.  Pad Thai was flavourful. We also tried crab gravy seafood friend rice was really yummy too. Thai ice tea completed the meal.  The decor and environment is very We will be back. Great to come back for a celebration.

I had a pretty good time here, the food wasn't outstanding to be honest. The seafood was lukewarm when it was presented to us so I didn't enjoy that too much. It was an upscale Thai place so it's def hard to get a truly authentic taste. It felt more fusion Thai cuisine. I would come back.Food: 2/5

The restaurant has very nice atmosphere, it is clean and service is good.  The food is not real Thai food.  We had Curry with chicken… so watery and sweet., chk and eggplant was not cooked properly. The nan was not fresh. Certain vegetables they did not have in stock and had to substitute for Chinese broccoli….if they are going to charge steep prices for the dishes… they better taste good.  The prices for dishes does not match the quality of food. I would not go there again for Thai food.

The restaurant is big and clean, however, I don't think it is an authentic Thai food.  It is more likely a Chinese Thai fusion.  You can see simplified Chinese on the menu and apparently they target Mainland Chinese and the taste is more on Chinese side.  The staffs are very nice and price is at high end.  The food quality is an average and not outstanding.  There are many Thai restaurants in the area and I don't think I will come back, at least not in the near future.

We went here for dinner tonight and the service was amazing as the staff asked about allergies and took the initiative to give us extra napkins when we ran out. The dishes themselves had a lot of flavor. The Ribeye was cut and tender with proper seasoning. The lamb shank was falling off the bone and easy to share with a deep coconut curry base that we dipped naan in. The chicken satay was very tender and easy to extract from the skewer. The pork cheeks were easy to chew for my mother with bad teeth so that shows how tender they were. The desserts weren't overwhelmingly sweet, but presented some new flavors that we haven't tasted before probably because of the mix of ingredients.  The only area of improvement I could recommend is that some or many of the dishes had a bit too much flavor and salt as I caught myself drinking a lot of water to compensate for the dehydration. Though this could just be because I'm used to having lighter-tasting food.  All in all, I'd definitely come again and try out other dishes, especially their BBQ menu that we passed on this time.
