Lane County Elections

Helpful and caring individuals. I came in to register to run for a local office in the up coming election. What I originally picked was out of my district and they were patient and helpful in helping me find what fits best for me in my district. They even talked to me about the other candidates who I would be running with or against. I definitely felt a strong sense of community here.

On voting day - I found that my voting information was sent to the wrong address so I had to go down to the Lane County elections office to get the paperwork to be able to vote on that day. There must have been 60 people doing the same thing I was trying to do: I thought this could take all day, but those wonderful, patient and knowledgeable workers help me take care of my business in less than 20 minutes.
