I think this office lacks customer service when it comes to medical concerns. Be prepared to wait very long times. The process of walk in patients and appointment patients makes no sense. If someone comes in with an appointment you get bumped so it feels like you are not making any headway. They do not prioritize children, extreme cases or pregnant women. I would highly recommend that this office trains their front staff better. There’s a lady who named Tanya, she needs to work on her communication skills. They also have a sign that indicates “ do not come in if you have a fever”. Ok so where does one go if they are I’ll? Is it not a medical office to get expert advice? I have never seen an office so unwilling to see patients who need medical attention. Do not practice medicine if fevers scare your staff. It’s a part of life before and after Covid so I do not understand why it’s such a issue when people come in with fevers. Again the front desk staff speak down to ppl like absolute trash. Very condescending and arrogant. They need to get rid of that woman with the dark black hair named Tanya, she seems like she greatly dislikes her career as a medical professional. Not impressed what so ever!!!
Dr. Elia is an incredible Doctor. He is attentive, kind, compassionate, and always happy to assist you with any issues you are experiencing. I admittedly have always been afraid of seeing the doctor - but Dr. Elia has always made me feel comfortable, heard, and at ease asking questions. He has managed to solve a lot of my problems that went unanswered before previous to being his patient, and for that, I am forever grateful! Lakeside Pharmacy, and their Staff is also wonderful. Prescriptions are filled promptly, even after a visit the same day! and always met with a smile. I have called numerous times after appointments, or days later when I have questions about instructions, and the Pharmacist is always incredibly willing to help, and put me at ease. I can't say enough just how fantastic they are. I also love the selection of products available, like vitamins and supplements, that we may not want to travel to another store for! Overall, from the moment you walk in the door, to the Doctor, and Pharmacy Team - Lakeside Health Centre is a pleasant and easy experience. I am very thankful to be a patient, and be under the careful care of Dr. Elia and his team.
No accountability what so ever. I scheduled an appointment with my family doctor 1 month in advance. I had to wait 1 hr in the main lobby waiting room to then be told the doctor left for a personal emergency- fine things come up but there better be another doctor available to see me. Nope, doctor is on break. Next option was to reschedule my appointment 2 months out.
One of the worst experience I ever had in Canada, had to wait for 2 hour in walk-in line and when my turn came, as soon as I told the doctor I have pain in the throat, she didn't examine me, stood 6ft apart and asked me to open the mouth and told me everything looks good, she had glasses on and a face protector, I bet she can see everything InSite my mouth from that far and told me everything is good. The doctor was in so much hurry to cover all the patients that she took only 2 min and I was out of her room Save your time, please refer to a nice doctor in the area.
The receptionists are very very very rude. I got hung up on, always say they’re busy. I’ve been waiting for a whole week and they’re still pushing it. Barely answer my phone calls I understand it’s the holidays and they were closed 1/2 days and when they do they’re super rude. Prioritize patients over walk ins so don’t bother going as a walk in here. They don’t care about you. Better luck getting your own medical degree at this rate
Been here a number of time as walk in and I've seen that the ladies at the front desk do a great job accommodating everyone, be it appointments or walk in. Even if the clinic is busy they make sure things go smoothly and that the doctor sees you. I've had no problems uptil now.
This has been my dr. Office since they opened. My first visit was great, but since then it's HORRIBLE. A few of the receptionist are so rude. If you have an scheduledappt always an extra 20-45 min to wait before you even get to the room. Twice I have had scheduled appts that would "only take 10-15mins" and after 25mins of waiting I had to leave for work. Furthermore the doctor operating hours are so limited that you have to wait weeks to get an appt. Needless to say I am looking for a new doctor. Save yourself the time and don't come here.
The receptionist who always sits on the left with the curly hair is the worst I have seen ever. If you read reviews the most is about the receptionist instead of doctor. She is not doing her job right, not sure even the doctor knows or they just don't care. Doctor here is our family doctor and when we come in as walk in for our newborn eventhough there is Noone waiting outside we have to wait for 1 hour. It's ok I get it for the adults but for the newborn when there is Noone ahead you should let them in considering its your family doctor here. Worst worst worst. Think before you come in here for family doctor consideration. We will find another family doctor but till then we have no choice. Terrible!! Horrible!!!!
I've only had positive experiences at the walk-in clinic and pharmacy. The wait is never long for both the doctor or getting your medicine processed at the pharmacy. I've been treated with kindness and care every step of the way from the front desk staff, the doctors and pharmacy staff.
horrible family doctor. ive been seeing them for at least 3 years now and my doctor hasnt even taken the time to learn my name. doctor refuses to complete very important paperwork instead telling the patient to "deal with it themselves". "physicals" are nowhere near adequate and every time ive been there im rushed out despite still having concerns. not to mention they leave their computers with patients FULL NAMES AND MEDICAL HISTORY AND REASON FOR VISIT open while they make u wait in the waiting room. honestly dont even bother going here for walk ins. myself and my 3 other family members all feel the same way
