Well-maintained and well-designed campground in deep SE Oregon on the shores of Lake Owyhee with great facilities. My friends and I stayed comfortably in the 4-person teepee just a few feet from the water. Bring a raft to float on the warm lake water!

A hidden jewel in a way out of the way spot. The drive in on a gently twisting road alongside the river is spectacular. The camping areas are self contained (no services) that I could see/find. There is a boat launch site which was actively used. We saw lots of people fly fishing along the road. There are port-a-potties along the roadway as well.

We went to the Lake Owyhee Dam and then some. It was well maintained, parking, picnic tables, and a BBQ! Bathrooms don't have a sink, but they do have hand sanitizer. Beautiful areas to fish, swim, or just relax and enjoy the view. Could be packed sometimes and hard to get an area to yourself. Some areas you need to wear shoes while swimming, because of the sharp rocks. And, it was a long drive but all in all it was worth it and we will definitely be going again! Beautiful view! 💙

Crazy drive in but well worth it! This area is beautiful and the state park is fantastic. Large private sites most with water and electric and an easy drive through dump station on the way out. The views are amazing!

Amazing but if you want to go into the water I'd suggest bring water shoes
