I went into the ER on a Monday at about 9:30AM and got out 2pm! I took a number when I first got in, and I was surprised to see the registration lady so quick! She was a bit stern, but I think it's because I was talking too fast, so I slowed down, and she appreciated that.nnThen I went to get a hospital card, and there were only 2 people in front of me, so I got it pretty fast!nnI brought the papers and card back, and was seen by a nurse instantly. The first nurse couldn't find my vein, and injected my hand, which was very uncomfortable, so she got a second nurse, who found my vein right away.nnI then had to wait about an hour, but they didn't let me lie down, which I needed, because of back pain It hurts to sit. So I had to alternate sitting and standing for a while I get sore from standing toonnAfter that the doctor said the blood test and everything was fine, so they sent me upstairs for a CT scan. It was a lot quicker than I thought.nnI went back downstairs, and got to stay in bed this time! I waited an hour and a bit, and the doctor said that the lower back pain was not from any internal organ, so it must be muscle pain.nnI got some anti-inflammatory medication, and left at 2pm, so it went way faster and was way better than I thought. I recommend going early on a weekday! I'm guessing there's less staff on weekends, and if you get there too late, you may have to stay overnight, which won't be fun.
Wait is way too long for the few people in the waiting room. I supported this hospital not closing down because the neighborhood needs access to medical care.nMost of the staff don't seem to want to be here. Little compassion, so sad.
Not what it use to be.keeping my day short. I wouldn’t go here again unless it’s for something small. I was #7 I waited 5h before getting a simple iv on a 0% flow day .nnNeeds:nnMore doctors,QUALIFIED cleaners, lab technicians. Also a big sign that clearly stated not to eat peanuts in a hospital waiting room some people didn’t get that memonnThe nicest person was was the lady that came with the iv drip your personality is beyond amazing thank you.
Update: I saw a Doctor after waiting 13 hours.nnNever ever come here.It is absolutely trash.I have been sitting here for over 9 hours now and still haven’t been attended to by a doctor. All those who I was initially here with are gone but they just left me sitting.Worse experience ever.
Ya OK you have to wait it's a hospital. Having said that, the care I was given was incredible. Hats off to the two doctors that got the piece of metal out of my finger! Not to mention the cold rag they put on my forehead when I thought I was going to pass out.. It is amazing the care I was given despite these times and how hard the doctors work every day! From the bottom of my heart thank you I truly appreciate it. the staff at reception was also very friendly! It is the only hospital I will go to! Hope I don't see you soon hehehe stay healthy!
