I was attracted by people‘s recommendation from social media, happened to be nearby, so why not have a try. I don’t have sweet tooth, so was really surprised when the beautiful miss recommended they have this light sweet strawberry cake I chose another strawberry cake before she suggested. cake is unexpectedly good, cream is not sweet at all, but when serve with the white chocolate that sprinkled on , it satisfied me exactly. Definitely will come again. If you don’t have sweet tooth, it would be better to ask for recommendations. Plus, store is clean, spacious, quite, vibe is great!
I was already very full when I happen to pass this place so this review is not on the food yet. I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming and warm ambience and walked in to take a look at what's in the store. In addition to the known La Rocca cakes, it carries some interesting individual size cakes and chocolates etc. It's interesting to see the pastry chefs working and the employees were friendly. Will definitely come back on am empty stomach to try everything and update this review on food the next time.
I lately moved to this neighbourhood, and finding and trying new places are my favourite things to do. I visited this bakery to buy muffins for my coworker’s gift. He loved it and he said they are so good and fresh. Both indoor and outdoor look fancy and staffs are friendly. I bought a half dozen of muffins and got some discount which is the happiest price I haven’t tried it yet for myself but will stop by here very soon.
When do delicious and so beautiful. All the pastries are expertly made. We tried a few and all were great. Slightly sweeter than we are used to. But they would be great with tea or coffee. Will definitely be back.
Okay so we all are familiar with their cakes, cup cakes etc. Have been eating their all time favorite chocolate fudge cake but this time I ordered Swiss chocolate milk cake. It was recommended to me by the staff and I must admit it was way too good. I'm happy I ordered something different and everyone loved it. So next time do try the Swiss chocolate cake, you will fall in love with it.
Good Atmosphere and stylish store as well as packaging. Onto the taste, cupcakes, fluffy bottom lots of baking powder taste, I like that some ppl might not Cream are heavily buttered, and very sweet. Cake, I didn't like the Mango moose cake, it tasted more like honey prune cake. Super Caramel Crunch Mini, not bad, less sweet, but no much flavor. Chocolate Meringue cake was OK. I didn't feel their cream was tasty in general. Maybe has something to do with ingredients. However on the other side, their cakes are budget friendly. average 5.75$ a piece, compare to some place charges 7.5$ a piece. Will do for good souvenir. If I live near this location, probably would have visited very often, but not worth to travel from far. Products are good, but lack in character.
The chef special was hazelnut pyramid, and I really enjoy the richness of the nutty mousse. The pistachio cube is good too, but hazelnut one is the best! I’m a big fan of nut and really appreciate when real nuts were used to make the pastry. The mango coconut cheesecake and lemon meringue tart were decent.
I always go to this La Rocca to pick up cakes and small pastries for special occasions as they have solid desserts every time. However, today was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve had. On Friday, Oct 7 at 5:40 pm, we got a strawberry shortcake as a birthday cake. We told them the name to write for the birthday message and the cashier wrote it down. When the name was shown to the cake decorator, my girlfriend and I realized she made a weird face, seemingly laughing and making jokes with the other girl. I was pretty offended as this was my 8 year old sisters name. After she was done, she showed us the message for the cake saying nothing to us at all. We had two boxes and she put only one box in the bag, leaving the other box for us to put ourselves. She had an overall bad attitude, bad customer service and was very unprofessional. The entire time she served us, she said nothing to us at all, not even a simple “have a good day.” This has ruined our experience at La Rocca and we will never be coming back.
Nice and neat store. However, me and my wife think the cakes are too sweet for Asian. They look good though.
Such a nice and clean location. Nice staff. High quality and delicious pastries, cupcakes, and brownies. I loved the cute cupcake packaging. My Instagram: arghavans_appetite
