La Lotus Nails Spa

I’ve come in twice for a gel fill and both times my nails we’re perfect. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful as are the technicians, this is rare in my experience. If you want nail art its best to email or call to make sure you book a tech that does nail art. I booked Kent for my last appointment, brought pictures of what I wanted and he did an amazing job. A friend of mine told me to get my mani done here before a "date". I'm so glad I listened to her suggestion. Vivian was ever so kind to accommodate my needs. I told her what I wanted in 2 seconds and she delivered exactly what I wanted and so much more! I'm shook! Best manicure I ever got. She has given me gel x in an hour BUT with great detail. Vivian is super Profesional and meticulous. On a blue day those nails make me smile and make me feel like a woman. And that's exactly what a great manicure should do. The salon is clean and largely comfortable...very spacious and feels like home, filled with friendly lovely staff and lovely clientele. They use disposable nail files which is a big plus for me! It was my first time at La lotus nail salon and it was amazing. My nail tech was Vivian and she briefly explained every single detail about gel nail extensions and gave me an incredible service. The interior of this salon is also really nice. Overall, I am really happy with the results and would def recommend this place.

La Lotus was recommended by a friend and I am very grateful for the reco! Cloud did my nails and did a great job. I just wanted a basic gel manicure with extensions and he was a wiz. It was done in half the time I expected! I got them basically a week ago and knock on wood, they are still going strong! My only criticism is that I wish their website had more information about the services. For example, I haven’t had my nails done for years, thanks to school, and I did not know what gel-x was initially. And, now that I want a fill in a couple weeks, I don’t know what the parameters are and it would be helpful if the info was online. I’m a millennial and I do not want to call if I have a choice and their instagram messages are closed.Services: Manicure

I had my first appointment there today, with Anthony and it was the best nail experience I’ve ever had. He was so precise and patient. I love my nails so much. Also they use disposable nail files for each client which was very important to me. I really enjoyed. Tony is amazing!

Very disappointing experience with the technician who could not do the nail design + burned my nail bed. I booked express gel nail + nail art for my visit on Feb 04, 2023. I emailed them my nail design in advance and told them that I have short nails. They told me they found a technician who can do my design and booked me in. However, when the technician saw my nails she briskly said that my nails where 'too small' to do the design on them. As I wasn't expecting that I would have to do a simpler design, I asked for suggestions where the technician shrugged her shoulders and said it is up to me and rushed me to choose the nail colours. I told her I wanted the same nail colours as the reference photo - while working on one of my hand cuticle care, she gave me a basket of nail colours to look through. I felt extremely rushed and it was uncomfortable trying to pick the colours with one hand. In the end, I opted not to do any nail art as I literally did not have time to choose a new design nor any help from the technician. Towards the end of the appointment, my right hand was under UV light for last curing I chose matt top coat - this felt BURNING HOT. This was not a normal experience I had with previous nail salons and I told the technician it was too hot I literally withdrew my hand in pain. Technician said that it was perfectly normal and gestured towards her own hand which had gel nails on them to say that it's a normal experience for everyone. This is simply not true as my left hand did not feel scorched. Later I looked up the cause for this and found out "if the UV gel is applied too thickly or cured in an unsuitable nail lamp, then excessive heating may occur", causing heat spikes. My nail bed for right hand is still sensitive right now. Finally, the edges of my nails look messy, surface looks lumpy under light and pink + grey shade do not match. What was supposed to be relaxing turned out to be a frustrating experience.Service: Manicure

Oh my god, this place is awesome and Kent is so professional in his job. I’ve been looking for a really good nail spa in downtown over the past few months and even I tried Chichi nail salon and it was horrible. I was desperately looking for a good place when I found here. I would recommend Kent 100% sure to everyone. He is so precise and detailed oriented, exactly who I was looking for. He is so nice and fast. They charge the same price as other places do, but you receive a great service. Thank you Kent, and special thanks to the salon receptionist who introduced Kent.

I had such a great experience here. They gave me exactly what I wanted and did a great job re-shaping my nails after my last set was a bit of a mess different salon. They really understood what I wanted and copied the image I brought in perfectly.
