If you into bread , this is your place. If you are like me, love more pastries, viennoiseries , cookies and croissants …. You are not going to be disappointed. The palmier was excellent
One of my favourite cafes in Montreal! Food is amazing and the staff are so warm and friendly. I always appreciate and enjoy my time here. Highly recommend!
Summary: Small neighborhood boulangerie offering a wide range of high quality and fresh baked goods. All menu items are excellent but the baguettes and croissants stand apart from other bakeries. The baguettes have a perfect crunchy crust and the right amount of chew in the center. The croissants also have a nice texture that balances a slightly crunchy exterior with a soft interior. The bakery is a perfect stop for any occasion and any time of the day. Must Try: Baguette and Croissants. Also Recommended: Fougasse. Avoid: N/A - Great, worth a detour
We were only in the area for 3 days but this is my new favourite cafe! Staff were incredibly friendly and patient with my jetlag. Eternally grateful they open at 6am. Coffee is very nicely done. I tried bostock bleuets & erible first day - something new to me and blown away, pistacio croissant and plain croissants lovely too. We grabbed demi-baguettes for lunch and used their butter, cheese and ham to make ourselves a sandwich one day.
L'Atout Caramel is a delicious sugar tart with a caramel chantilly cream topped off with a caramel mirror glaze. The pastry is light and not too sweet. It pairs perfectly with a nice cup of coffee. A must-try if you are in the area.
Quality has really gone downhill since they opened. I stopped going because there is so much humidity in the bakery during summer the bread crust becomes overly soft and now I've come back because of the convenience of location only to receive overcooked, burnt and overly chewy baguettes twice this week. What a big mistake! Once I can forget but it's obvious there is zero quality control. I can't believe you would sell this to a customer, you only do yourself a disservice by driving away people who have standards. I'm certainly not going to inspect every item in their bags to ensure I get a decent product, I'd rather go to another bakery and will do so going forward.
Early opening hour. We had pastries and cake to go. The Pistachio Croissant was not up to expectations, it was decent but not amazing. The plié au noix was much more savory, had a pleasant crisp to it, very good. The cakes were too sweet and generic, would not recommend for the pricing. The coffee was decent. The customer service we had lacked professional standards. The lady who served us was rude, kept rushing us while we were deciding on our purchases. She forgot to bring us the cakes we ordered, while the clients that came in after left with their orders. We inquired about purchases and she had the gall ask "What's the problem?" in the most condescending tone, despite her mistake. Luckily she had a colleague that knew how to handle better.
My coffee and much more. All the photos are made while I'm drinking their amazing coffee. I am an artist, but during Covid I worked in a dentist office. This shop saved mornings cause I am a coffee junkie.
One of the best bakeries in Montreal. Everything they have is of high quality and tastes amazing.
Not bad for a small café the price is reasonable and healthy food that will get you going through the day the only issue is that it's kinda slow service but appreciate that they call your name for the take out food
