Welcome to La Cucina located in the heart of downtown Kitchener. La Cucina features authentic Italian cuisine!! We take pride in all of our fresh made pasta, sauce and pizza. Regional dishes are featured on the menus which are updated seasonally. La Cucina is the perfect place for dinner or post dinner cocktails and long drinks. Reservations are recommended but not needed.

Their pizza is very good. It has the just right amount of crust and crisp to it. And the toppings and the sauce is delicious. Their pasta, however, was a bit underwhelming. Compare to their pizza, the pasta didn't have enough flavour. The service was great. I'd come back for the pizza but wouldn't order their pasta again. Their tiramisu was pretty good as well!  Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available both for pizza and the pasta. Salads are also available.

Very much appreciated that our preferences made/specified on OpenTable were recognized. The quality of the food was really good and authentic. However, portions too small for the price and server permanently asked to order the next course even though we mentioned to order after finishing the current course,

Very nice Italian place. It's in a pretty prime location, nice to walk to and frequent transit is nearby. Been here 4-5 times now and right now it's probably the best Italian food I've had in the area. The prices are a little on the expensive size but the portion sizes are reasonable. The service is a little slow but it's understandable considering the place can get busy during lunch hours. So far I've tried different pizzas and pastas and all of them have been really good.  The food is not spicy at all, but one time one of the waiters gave me this hot sauce they make in-house. It was really good but I don't think it's even on the menu. Might be worth asking about.

What a great Italian restaurant!  Wood fired pizzas are awesome!  Service is spot on and the ambiance is so nice. Tip of the day is order your pizza near well-done but not burnt!Food: 4/5

I am blown away with the quality of the ingredients and how everything effortlessly came together in each of the dishes we tried. Each bite was an explosion of flavor. Fresh in house made pasta, stone fire pizzas and decadent desserts - what's not to love? And their customer service is top notch. Our hostess Drea went over and above to ensure our visit was extremely pleasant. We will be back for more!

We have been here a couple of times now for dinner and haven't been disappointed. The pizza is awesome. Homemade pasta is perfectly cooked. Desserts and appetizers also don't disappoint. Everything tastes fresh and authentic.  Vegetarian options: They have veggie pastas and pizzas

Best place for authentic Italian taste. We went for pasta but ended up falling in love with their pizza. Starting with their caprese salad, 3 cheese gnocchi, and basil pesto olive mushroom pizza. The incredible taste of the flavor pallete is a like festival for the tastebuds. The most simple thing that I loved was the mild sweet after taste of a their pizza, lingering in your mouth gives you loving, caring and homemade vibe. I don't think I can enjoy any fast-food chain pizza anymore. Must visit for any Italian cuisine lover.

The food was absolutely delicious and although I find it to be a little higher priced…it was fantastic! I suspect it authentic Italian food and the noodles hand made. I love that the whole front of the restaurant opens with rolling overhead doors and in the age of COVID, you can be breathing outside air as you sit inside!

We went here to celebrate with friends and it was wonderful. The server was so amazing and funny and knowledgeable. I ordered the fish and was not disappointed.   It was cooked beautifully and the veggies underneath were just so delicious. The olive oil is amazing! I brought a pizza home for my husband and he was very impressed! We were given a side of their hot sauce and it is out of this world. Insane flavor!! They were out of stock at this time and I can see why. As soon as its back in stock I will for sure be buying a jar. All of our plates were empty and we all left very content. Pasta amazing, pizza amazing and fish was amazing. The drinks were pretty darn great as well. All in all a great experience.

We loved the place. Location is good n happening. The food is awesome, and we ordered vegetarian pizzas, Ravioli, along with some drinks. Got the complementary strawberry  cake on top of it. It's a kids friendly place. You need to book the table before going. It's in the middle of Downtown kitchener, and there is 2 hr street parking available around the area, but you have to find the parking by roaming around.
