La Cabane - Portuguese - Happy Hour - Bar - Cocktails - Wine/Porto Bar

Great cheap eat spot. A staple of The Saint-Laurent scene. I go once in a while there for the great Portuguese Soul food. The Beer on tap is always on point and never flat. The patrons and servers/workers there are some really nice people. I recommended it all the time. If I go there for tapas I always order the Petisco Plate (Strips of Pork Scallops, cheese, chouriço all in that awesome Portuguese sauce served with bread) and the Garlic Shrimp. Like I said... Great Cheap eat.

The food was amazing and service was terrific. The only negative is it is on the loud side for a conversation with several people like a bar atmosphere. I highly recommend you try it. Have been there several time in late evening and it was nice.

This is the spot. Here where you come to get your night off to a great start and then return at 2am to finish your evening perfectly. The owner UB is the most personable bartender/manager/owner I’ve ever met. He alone is worth the visit to la cabane. Always order his special olives with your drinks. You can just ask him to make you something delicious and it is guaranteed to be just that (food or drink). La cabane is my favourite spot in Montreal to get that Cheers vibe and either get my energy going or wind it down. You can find all types of people in here and UB manages the customers perfectly. Super clean. Super tasty. Super chill. 6/5. Kevin

More than just a bar...great food too. A darn good place to watch sports as well.
