La Baie d'Hudson

Did a return at the Coach cash register with a chunky lady with closely cropped grey hair. Had been sent there because of the long line at the only other cash register in ladies' wear. After the return, she started destroying the original invoice that had other items on it. I told her to stop, but she refused. I ended up having to almost crawl over the counter to get it back, with her threatening to call security. I eventually got the invoice back, ripped into shreds, along with scratches on my hand when she had dug her nails into me. Spoke to on duty manager who told me that he had no intention of asking her to apologize to me because the cashier. was "not a child". He said that the store manager would call me back, but he never did. This is unbelievable behaviour and explains why HBC will certainly be headed the way of Sears.

The worst customer service at Clinique in this store: They sold me a lipstick pack without giving me any tester to try to check the color....when going back to the store for returning, they say we do not accept returns only exchanges since it is opened. How am I supposed to know the color without trying it when you don't give a tester in store?!! I had to argue for half an hour with an employee (while manager said he is too busy to talk to customers) to convince them to follow Clinique and la baie's return policy and refund my money!

If you're ever feeling curious what it would feel like to be side-eyed, insulted & treated like a criminal this location is perfect for you! My best friend and I were shopping for underwear & bras for her wedding and since NO help was offered to us, we had to leave the change room frequently to find better sizes. Not only could we hear the employee discussing that fact, but when I was ready to pay for my purchase she left the cash register to count the items we weren't purchasing. She also asked us which rooms we had used so that she could check them as well. I regret not taking her name, but she's the middle aged, miserable, talk (lanky) woman working in the women's underwear section. Avoid her (&this store) at all costs.

I love this store so so much! It's big and I like the stylish clothes there. There are so many varieties of women's clothes and you don't need to wait to try them on.

This Hudson's Bay store is not the biggest but still has a large variety of choices. The staff is friendly overall.
