Koodo Shop

I'm not surprised to see that this store has such low ratings, you should really buy your phone anywhere but here. Half a year into having my phone it started acting up because of a defect that had something to do with my touch screen. I ended up taking it into Koodo for repair and when I got it back I was happy to see that my problem had been fixed but shortly after getting it back I noticed that my power button on the side was starting to feel a little bit loose and about a week after getting my phone back the power button actually fell off the phone. I brought it into Koodo the day the button came off expecting it to just be sent back off since this obviously was an issue that came up during the time I'd given them my phone, my guess is that wherever they send them out to be repaired didn't do the best job putting it back together. To be clear, I didn't drop my phone I take good care of it and I even showed it to the staff at Koodo to show them that there hadn't been any physical damage on my end. When I brought it I was told that since I didn't have their extended warranty they didn't think they could do anything about it but that I could contact the manager Chris. After a ton of back and forth with the manager his final offer wasn't just to say sorry and send the phone back out, instead he just told me that I had to accept some responsibility for this and offered to take a few dollars off of my existing tab and give me a slight discount on a new phone. A lot of the staff at Koodo are great but that store either needs serious retraining or just needs to find a new manager. I told him that I wasn't interested in paying a few hundred dollars to replace the phone that was damaged during the time I trusted it with Koodo. But he basically just told me to take it or leave it. Long story short, don't buy from this Koodo location they might break your phone and if they do they'll ask if you're paying monthly for their warranty and if you're lucky they'll take a couple dollars off of a phone that you already don't want to buy. Hopefully they'll do something about the manager one day.

I have gone to the Koodo Kiosk in Georgian Mall for help with my android smart phone at least five times. (I did not purchase my phone from Koodo but Koodo is my cell phone provider.) I have NEVER been disappointed and the service people have always been courteous, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They have helped me, my husband and my 89 year old mother! Lately Darren was particularly helpful. Bell could not help me get my emails on my new phone but in about 60 seconds Darren had it figured out! I can't praise these guys enough. I got tired of Rogers (I won't go into a rant about my 2 years with them). I switched to koodo. I've been with them for 6 years now. And you know what? My bill has been the same every month, to the cent. The only time my bill changes is when I get a different phone (usually change phones 1.5/2years. Not because they are broken just want a newer phone). This is the closest koodo to me so I've only every used this booth. They've always been helpful.

Absolutely terrible. been there twice to make a payment and no service today one guy had to go for lunch. one guy stood there talking and the other 2 looked at me and served other customers. terrible customer service and I still didn't get to make my paymental.

Great help, guy demoed the tempered glass protector by taking out his personal phone and stabbing/scratching it with his own keys. Appreciated the demo and the service.
