Wonderful Ramen. Thick and tasty broth. The Gyu don is also very good. I just wish it came with a bit more sauce. It's not a very big shop so you may need to wait a bit daring busy hours. Service was excellent.
Amazing and tasty Ramen! Staff is super friendly as well! You get a great selection of your everyday regular ramen and the unique kinds like bacon and cheese! You want ice cream in a ramen? They have that too! I just wish they would open one in Mississauga so it's close by. I highly recommend this place!
Free edamame provided for dine in. Order can be placed directly via their website and complete the payment as well. I find it convenient. But I overheard other customers find it challenging and preferred to order via traditional way. I had the pork bone broth and it comes with thin noodle. I would prefer thick noodle but that wasn’t an option on the menu. There’s a hint of ginger flavour in the broth which I don’t enjoy. But other than that, everything else was great! The pork belly is thick and flavourful, perfect soft boiled egg.
Small little ramen shop that I heard about in Markham and decided to go for a visit. Orders can be made with servers or through an app for convenience. Tonkotsu and Hokkaido ramen were solid. Ramen noodles were springy enough, though I would say the broth base might not have been boiled long enough as it lacked substantial flavoue. Really like their karaage, which had a unique ginger flavour in its coating. Would perhaps recommend to try at least once with few genuine standalone ramen places in the area
The broth was tasteless… I don’t understand why there’re many positive reviews. Broth is very important for a ramen even ramen is the main food in menu. I would say the ramen quality is food court level. No jokes. I would save that $17 before tax for much better ramen….. Very disappointed.
Strongly recommend the ice cream volcano —— it sounds weird to have a ice cream in ramen, but they actually go well together! The spicy soup tastes great when the ice cream melts into it! Thanks for the nice service and the restaurant itself is neat!
This small Ramen shop has good varieties of Ramen and Sakes. We had Hokkaido Ramen and Pork Cutlet Tomato Ramen. Both borths are packed with flavors. We finished everything in the bowls. The pork cutlet is so delicious! Friendly service and very clean place. Scan the QR code and order from your phone, perfect system during current pandemic.
It was my first time here, and I ordered the Unagi and Hokkaido Ramen. The Unagi really, really good! The unagi sauce made it raste amazing. The Hokkaido Ramen was the restaurant's specialty, I recommend trying this before any other ramen! The ramen broth was rich and creamy, I could the sweet fragrant aroma from the bowl. The bowl had chashu, dried mushroom, an egg, corn, and narutomaki. Great ramen shop toncheck out if you're close by! It's near hwy 404 on Major Mack.
Custardy soft whites and gooey, creamy yolk. Damn! Best ramen egg I've ever had! So much attention to detail in each ingredient of the ramen. You can tell these people love doing their job well. Better than any ramens I had in Japan.
Solid place for ramen. I got the volcano ramen - spicy level 3. If you can handle your spice, level 3 isn’t too bad. I would even consider asking to make it even spicier for next time. Broth: 3/5 Noodle: 2/5 - slightly over cooked. Their noodles are on the thinner side. I wish it was thicker to hold the chewiness Chashu: 4/5 thick fatty slices Koi Sakana offers more specialized bowls, the most popular one being the volcano ramen with a soft served cone IN it and even another one with duck meat.
