"In 2007 a rundown laundromat in the Haultain Corners was leased by Michael Manhas, and a transformation of sorts began. Weary of the grande eggnog latte and the double skim pumpkin-pie macchiato, Michael wanted to create a neighbourhood coffee house that would serve only the highest quality espresso, and in only two sizes.The shoddy building was given new life and Koffi was created. The doors opened in November of 2007 and the café quickly became the focal point of the Haultain Corners and a neighbourhood retreat.Koffi has strived to create a warm and friendly atmosphere, serve only the highest quality products, and play a role in bettering our community."

Best cafe experience in the area. Servers were kind and welcoming and the mood was up. Good energy, good space to sit and enjoy, and really cool bathroom. Overall excellent experience and the coffee was fantastic.
Cute neighborhood coffee place. The staff was friendly and the selection of items was decent. They offer wifi and tables large enough to work at, making it a great spot to work on projects with classmates. Overall the location is very convenient and the atmosphere is cozy.

Good coffee uncertain about their tipping policy. It appears that the owner takes a portion of the tips which seems to be illegal. According to the staff working there the owner takes a portion of the tips. See Gratuities - Act Part 3, Section 30.3. I appreciate that they force you to tip at least 15% on the Machine however that money should go to the employees not the owner. I’d rather support a business I know is paying employees fairly. The coffee is great and no complaints there.
