White Heather Tea Room

My first high tea and it was scrumptious. I went with a group of six friends and I highly recommend reserving your spot as the second sitting was full when we got there. Friendly service and amazing food, we all even took some home as the portions are generous. The pastry chef owner is a true artist. Passionate about her craft and excited to try new things, it was a delight to meet her. My favourite selections were the melt-in-your-mouth Earl Grey shortbread and the mysterious savory canapé with a crisp base, warm cheese filling, and slivered almond top. You will leave full and happy.

Absolutely delightful food and the presentation is outstanding! Do yourself a favour and experience an afternoon tea at The White Heather Tea House! In my opinion, this gem of a tea house and menu sets the bar for all tea establishments. I loved this quaint place and from the moment I walked in, basked in the aroma of freshly baked scones! I selected “The Wee Tea” for one and to my delight, an uplifting, mouthwatering feast for the eyes. Lovely presentation of exquisite freshly baked goods, tiny cakes, bite sized quiches, delicately rolled sandwiches adorned with olives and edible flowers, cream fraiche and jams, all artistically displayed on my 3 tiered tea plate. The creative ladies working in the kitchen should be commended for the work they do. Outstanding! Don’t think about it, just hurry, go and treat yourself!

I have to say, this is the best afternoon tea I ever had in Victoria! Nice portion and everything tasted amazing, no matter the textures, the sweetness, the layers, and the flavors. Definitely would come back again! It’s worth to visit even though I have to drive from Langford!!

I ordered the Elizabeth teabox and it was fantastic. Everything was arranged beautifully and was so delicious, especially the candied ginger shortbread and the mango-pineapple poundcake. Looking forward to coming again in a different season and seeing what new flavors they have!

I picked up the “Signature Muckle Tea at Home” for a birthday treat and I couldn’t be happier with it! Everything included was delightful and delicious. It was beautifully presented and packaged. I love having the option of a high-quality tea at home; a perfect treat! Highly recommend! Thank you White Heather!

A very fine afternoon tea. Some of the best scones you’ll eat. Wonderful sandwiches and exquisite sweet treats. Almost Empress level. 4 stars, not 5. Excellent waitress. A little pricey at $110 for 2 including tax and 20% tip. But, hey, it’s afternoon tea in Victoria. A couple of criticisms. Size of teapot and scone accompaniments. Of course, you could ask for more—the little pots are far too small, but at 50 bucks a pop, maybe give the customers more than a tablespoon of cream, lemon curd and jam. Other than that ‘small’ thing, very enjoyable.

This was by far the best tea house I have been to. Now it is not fancy at all. Not the typical vintage looking tea house. This was the best tasting tea I really ever had. Such amazing quality and amazing flavor. You can taste the love and pride that goes into the making of the delicious scones, sandwiches and desserts. Wow! The shortbread was over the top in flavor and texture. Wow wow wow. The owner and her staff were knowledgeable and the presentation of the food and tea was spectacular. Do not go anywhere else! Kid-friendliness: Brought my teenagers. They loved it Parking: Parking in the back. So convenient

My husband and I went for afternoon tea. It is a cozy quaint place close to the Oak Bay village in Victoria. We had the “Not So Wee tea”. The website says 30$ each. It is $48 each the second most expensive afternoon tea. On their menu. The other one is 55$. Taxes and tip is extra. The tea pots are very small probably hold 1-1.5 cups though they do come around to refill. The tea is very filling as their are 3 types of scones one with an ample chicken salad filling. And all items are very rich and tasty. The quilt on the wall is teacups and saucer pattern and very well done. Teacups are bone China in assorted patterns. Lunch menu is very limited for $25 you get a scone with chicken salad filling a side salad and. a Madeline. That’s it no other choices as of today.

Took "the moms" for tea here and it was fantastic. The staff could not have been kinder, the food was truly delicious and so obviously made with care and pride and we had a really great experience! Thanks again!

Had a wonderful experience trying out the afternoon tea at White Heather. It’s a cozy tea room with two seating times for afternoon tea. There are four tea sets to choose from. I tried the Wee Tea $42 which includes scones, sweets & savouries and your choice of tea. It was a good amount of food as I was unable to finish everything! I especially enjoyed the swirl sandwiches, shortbread and tarts.
