Friendly owners, if you enjoy cooking or baking and looking for unique items this place may have it great place for culinary arts students to pick up supplies as well. Prices are fair.
I absolutely love this store. Some things are expensive but quality costs money. I've been dealing with the owner for years. He has stopped me from over buying saying you dont need that or making me buy the cheaper item cus it's better quality. I mean who does that. It's my favorite store to buy goodies.
Many kitchen-wares not made in China can buy here. The staff here is also accommodating and helped me find the food colouring I would like to purchase.
Old Asian male was very rude , and judgmental , he will follow you around , like you are going to still something, I will never comeback to that store, I will tell my relatives and never ever going to that store, very bad customer service,

I'm not terribly thrilled with our experience here. My partner wanted to buy me wine glasses for a Christmas gift and went here. The person who "helped" him actually sold him beer glasses but the distinction is hard to tell for someone who isn't familiar with the style of glass he is not... We went to return them but didn't have a receipt, so I asked if we could exchange them or get store credit. The man who spoke with us said he couldn't tell where we bought them from; I pointed directly at the display in the shop with the matching identical boxes. It is not a brand of glass I have seen elsewhere, so I thought he was a little unreasonable. He also said they couldn't exchange them since he didn't know the price... again, I suggested maybe he just look at the ones on display. Then, strangely, he offered me $20 for them?! I declined. I understand that if they were generic glasses or a generic brand that exchanging them might be a bit of a stretch, but since they are a unique brand and were literally on display one shelf over, I thought it was a bit tacky of them to offer to take them back for only $20 when they cost more than that. They were also a Christmas gift, so I don't think it was too much to expect not to have a receipt. Anyways, we learned our lesson and won't shop here again. Also it's extremely over-priced. You can get some of the same things at Winner's on sale for much less. And judging by our experience, you won't even get the benefit of knowledgeable staff who can differentiate between an "iced beverage glass" and a wine glass...
This store has a lot of items, but they are quite expensive. I would choose other kitchen supply stores over this one or shop online instead. Even the Gourmet Warehouse in Vancouver is 10x better. The workers there are not friendly and rude. Avoid this place like the plague.
Staff talked within earshot about customers looking at wares and touching goods was pretty rude. We were the only customers in store. Bad idea to insult your client base right in front of them. Never going back.
salesperson was not friendly.
Alot of variety but Expensive! $35 for a digital meat thermometer!
